Pet care experience
Dog-lover dedicated to your pet!
I grew up with an English Springer Spaniel, which started my love of dogs. In college, I volunteered at a dog shelter and sometimes fostered dogs. I have been dog and house sitting ever since. While living in Thailand, I rescued street dogs, then in Ukraine I connected displaced dogs to caring homes. In the U.S., I have done a variety of dog sitting and walking, which has included housesitting on TrustedHousesitters. This entailed taking care pet needs and general upkeep of someone’s home. I am a certified Wilderness First Responder, making me reliable for any special pet medical needs too.

Ratings and reviews
Mary was fantastic! She has great experience pet sitting and house sitting, and we’re very happy leaving our pup in her hands! We’ll definitely be using Mary’s services again!

Mary was awesome. Reliable, communicative, and great with my dog. Will absolutely request her to work with Bandido again in the future

Mary is a wonderful person an asset to your family

Love Mary so does TEYHA she goes above and beyond. I consider her part of the family thank you Mary for everything that you do.🤗

Mary was so helpful and communicative and Matilda seems very happy!

Thank you, Mary for everything. I appreciate it. Yeah she could just leave those collars on. Makes things a little bit easier and it’s all right that she didn’t eat. She’ll just eat when I get home. I appreciate everything you’ve done. I’m happy that she was excited at first and eventually calm down and yes, there was a situation with skateboards the last time I took her down to the end of Philemon towards 36th St. and it scared the crap out of her so now I have to work on inch and her down there again so I am I know what you’re talking about. Yeah she’ll get to a certain point and wanna come home and that’s fine. That’s fine when when she’s with you again I appreciate it and thank you so much and now you didn’t need to put the water in especially if like you said she drank a sufficient amount so I will see you while she will see you tomorrow lol thank you so much.

- I'm flexible and open-minded, so I recognize life events can change last minutes in terms of plans, availability, pet care expectations and more. The farther I know in advance when you would like me to walk your dog, expectations for the walk/petcare, if medication administration is needed and more is always better, but I recognize this may not be possible. If needs for a dogwalker/care or change of medication administration changed last minute, I understand and hope you just let me know as soon as you know.
