Young professional who loves pets
I have a six year old Dalmatian. I adopted him about 2.5yrs ago. He is a bit leash reactive so I am comfortable managing reactive dogs. I grew up with a Saint Bernard for 11 years so I am comfortable with large dogs. Over the last 8 years, friends have relied on me for dog sitting ranging from weekend stays to 2 week long stays. I've cared for dogs aged from under 1 to 11 years old. I'm happy to follow your training preferences, so please share your guidance and requirements.

Schedule
I am working a full time job so weekday availability it limited to 6-8am and 5-9pm. My weekend availability is much more flexible. I'm looking to help with walks during the week and open to longer walks/hikes on the weekends.

I live in an apartment so I'm looking to start by helping out with walks for now. If boarding a dog in my home, I prefer to crate them when I am not home. If boarding in your home, I will follow your guidance.
Pets
A typical day
I'm looking to help with walks around the neighborhood and typically will walk towards an off leash park. If there is enough space for us to play off leash without interacting with other dogs, AND I know the dog has good recall, I will play with them off leash. If I do not trust a dog's recall, I will keep them on leash for the entire walk.

- Please let me know your training preferences, any behaviors I should be aware of, and how your dog interacts with things we may encounter on a walk (dogs (big/small/male/female), kids, bikes, scooters, etc). I do try to let dogs off leash within enclosed spaces where it is allowed, and only if I trust their recall - please let me know your off leash preferences.
