Fellow animal lover and keen traveller!
I've always loved animals and grew up with dogs since being a teenager. My parents separated and both got dogs with their new partners, meaning I had dogs in both my homes, and a cat too! My dad has always been a fan of big dogs (my preference as well) whereas my mum has 3 Italian greyhounds, so I'm use to all sizes and personalities! Since moving out of home I haven't had a lifestyle that can accommodate for a dog, however I owned a cat for 4 years and very often look after pets for friends and family. When I lived in Bristol, I walked 2 dogs from separate homes over 3 years, it provided me with the most fulfilling sense of joy, knowing I was helping the families care for their pets when they needed a little extra support! I now currently live with a family with 2 young children, a dog, 2 cats, a snake, a gerbil, and many fish, so I'm used to a pretty crazy household!

I'm very flexible and adaptable to new environments and different kinds of pet personalities! For every pet I've cared for, it doesn't take me long to sync to and compliment their energy.

Mary was amazing and our two dogs loved her. She stayed with our dogs for a week and we were able to fully relax on holiday knowing our dogs were happy and safe. Mary communicated regularly with lots of pics. We came back to our house and it was spotless (maybe more than when we left!) We have already booked her for our next weekend break away. I cannot recommend her enough!
Mary had an instant rapport with our Aussie Shepherd pup. Mary has a natural and relaxed energy and our puppy clearly picked up on this and the bond was set. An easy going, trustworthy house sitter. We will be booking Mary again.
It was immediately clear that Mary is super comfortable with any challenges a dog might throw at her, and I had no worries at all about her taking Romy on off lead walks. Mary was flexible and very understanding about the fact that Romy didn't allow for much sleep during her stay. The house was also left perfectly, and we got regular updates. Very reliable and lovely. Mary has looked after our various pets, snakes, dogs, cats, fish, gerbils and house plants. She's incredibly conscientious and has always done an amazing job.
Mary has house sat and dog walked for me multiple times. The 3 dogs adore her and she gets to know each of their little personalities and individual quirks. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Schedule
I'm a freelance illustrator and so can thankfully work from anywhere! Around a year ago I left a fairly hectic job that wasn't great for my mental health, moved back home, and navigated an ADHD diagnosis. So in the last year I've be attempting to restructure my life and priorities what makes me happy, which for me is animals and travelling! My family are based in north London but I've just bought a van which I'm hoping to live in part time whilst also doing housesits and exploring the world.
