I’m an animal person at heart! I've personally owned most types of pets, and have cared for just about every creature you can name, including birds & exotics. I currently enjoy spending my free time with my horse, Marlon. Besides being an owner, I've worked in the pet industry as an animal care technician at a family-run store, created pet memorials, even worked at pet trade shows. I'm educated and up-to-date on nutrition and good husbandry practices. Outside of Rover, I'm a professional studio artist. I typically finish early and occasionally have flexible hours, so please feel free to chat with me about what schedule works best for you. 🐾 *I HAVE RECENTLY MOVED and have to pause boarding at this time! Mary Grace has house sat and cared for our dog on multiple occasions. She has handled a few curveballs, is tidy and is very sweet with our lil dog! Thanks again!
Mary Grace was FANTASTIC - our little guy is quite particular and quirky. She was patient, gentle and loving and he adores her. She also met our request to arrive a bit earlier than originally scheduled. Best of all were the photos she sent that reassured us he was in good hands. She also left the house tidy. Will definitely be rebooking.

This was my first time booking through Rover, and I'm very happy to have had Mary Grace break all the nerves that came with that. She was very kind, showed up very prepared, was understanding to my nervousness and treated my pups very well. My "usually never stops barking" pup even took to her so well that he wasn't barking by the second drop in. If housesitting your home, I'm a very neat and tidy person, just the way you'd want! I reset the spaces I've used, so you have a nice clean, safe, comfortable home to arrive back to.
Pets
A typical day
I prioritize exercise for dogs and love getting a really solid walk in. I think it's important that dogs burn off some steam in order to relax and accept me, and hopefully create a bond. I will take lots of photos each visit- and I typically try to send 3 updates per day.
