I also like to understand their personality — whether they enjoy a lot of socializing, or if they prefer some quiet time. It’s also really important for me to know about any medical or health needs, like medication schedules or allergies, and of course, the emergency contact info and vet details. I find that knowing all of this ensures I can offer the best care and keeps both the pet and their owners at ease!
A typical day
I love spending quality time with pets, and I always make sure the activities I choose suit their personality and needs. For dogs, I’ll take them on walks or play fetch at the park if they’re active, or I’ll engage them with interactive toys or a fun game of hide-and-seek in the house if they prefer more relaxed play. For cats, I love using puzzle toys to stimulate their minds or having interactive play sessions with a laser pointer or feather wand. I always make sure that the pet's comfort and safety come first while making sure they’re entertained and happy. If the pet enjoys cuddling or just hanging out, I’m happy to provide some downtime too!

I’ve grown up surrounded by pets my entire life—from rescue kittens and Blue Point Himalayans to Yorkies, mixed-breed dogs, and French Bulldogs. I understand the unique needs of brachycephalic breeds, as well as the high-energy larger breeds that thrive on frequent walks. And of course, I adore the lap dogs who simply prefer extra cuddle time. As a nurse by profession and now an empty nester, I have the time and dedication to care for your beloved pets. I’m punctual, detail-oriented, and believe that our furry companions are family—and I’ll treat yours with the same love and respect.
