I’ve grown up surrounded by pets my entire life—from rescue kittens and Blue Point Himalayans to Yorkies, mixed-breed dogs, and French Bulldogs. I understand the unique needs of brachycephalic breeds, as well as the high-energy larger breeds that thrive on frequent walks. And of course, I adore the lap dogs who simply prefer extra cuddle time. As a nurse by profession and now an empty nester, I have the time and dedication to care for your beloved pets. I’m punctual, detail-oriented, and believe that our furry companions are family—and I’ll treat yours with the same love and respect.

I care for pets in their home as if they were my own. I follow any specific instructions provided by the owner, whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, medication, or playtime routines. I also spend quality time with them—giving plenty of affection, exercise, and attention to make sure they feel comfortable and safe while their family is away. I keep the home tidy and always update owners with pictures or messages so they know their pets are happy and well cared for.

Mary is fantastic! It’s the 2nd time we book her to sit our dogs and we’ve had a wonderful experience both times. She’s proactive and if she thinks there’s anything she can do to better handle our dogs, she will ask questions and make it happen. She loves our babies and we love her!

- When I’m preparing for a pet-sitting job, I always make sure I know a few key details about the pets I'll be looking after. For example, I like to ask about their feeding schedule, any dietary restrictions, and if there are any specific routines I should follow for walks or playtime. I also like to understand their personality — whether they enjoy a lot of socializing, or if they prefer some quiet time. It’s also really important for me to know about any medical or health needs, like medication schedules or allergies, and of course, the emergency contact info and vet details. I find that knowing all of this ensures I can offer the best care and keeps both the pet and their owners at ease!
