I love to spend my days with my own dog and other dogs I’m sitting. I maintain a low anxiety anxiety environment by providing personal time loving the dogs, decreasing any fears of separation they be having, provideing any necessary separation from larger dogs demonstrating. In this case, the aggressive dog is immediately separated and the owner is contacted to immediately provide an alternate sitting arrangement for their dog. I typically will not accept aggressive, protective breeds as the risk to the safety of myself and my other dogs clients is simply too high.

It's helpful for me to know your dog’s breed and any “triggering” behaviors of other dogs/ people so that safety measures can be implemented. any behavioral issues or triggers in advance. As a groomer, I'm accustomed to helping calm down pups in stressful situations, but any information you can provide me in advance is appreciated.

Our Pet sitter backed out at last minute-looked online and found Rover-Called three numbers and all three answered back in a timely manor. After interviewing all 3, only one, Mary could accommodate our needs. After meting Mary, we knew she was the perfect person for our dog and immediately made our reservation. Mary was the BEST! We are so grateful she was able to care for our dog. I would highly reccommend her to anyone who has a dog big or small. Our dog is over 70 pounds and she did a perfect job. Mary is exceptional. She was able to accommodate us last minute when other options to board our doodle fell through. She was kind and gentle which helped to reduce anxiety for us an our pup. She graciously welcomed our dog into her home and gave us price of mind to enjoy the event we had planned.
We cannot recommend Mary enough! She watched our sweet Daisy at her home, and I could immediately tell she treated her like part of the family. Mary was warm, attentive, and kept us updated with photos and little notes while we were away, which really put our minds at ease. Daisy came home so happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. It’s such a relief to know we have someone trustworthy and caring to look after her—I will definitely be reaching out to Mary again the next time we need a sitter.
