Reliable Woodstock Dog & Cat Lady!
Hi there! I'm a long-time Atlanta area resident (almost 20 years, altogether), & have been in Woodstock for about 6 years now. I have professional experience doing walking & pet sitting for another former company in town, and photos of some of those furry clients are included in my gallery. (Almost all were subscription customers.) I had Dylan, my previous Shiba Inu, since he was 4 months old, and I did lots of thorough training with him as a pup. He got daily compliments on how calm & sweet he was ever since! I will bring the love & experience I have with my dogs (& cats!) to caring for yours! I'm also open to looking after other pets (sans snakes) if you walk me through their care at the meet & greet! I grew up with two outdoor dogs and have almost always had one or two cats. I currently have a rescue flamepoint Siamese cat named Venus, & a rescue dog named Harrison. When my last dog Dylan was a puppy, I took him to three months of professional puppy training. I love getting to know pets' personalities and quirks, & I enjoy finding activities that make them happy. I love the feeling of reward or accomplishment that comes from having a cat trust you and reciprocate your affection. I'm good at denying dogs human food, giving commands, dispensing treats, and am a patient dog walker. (Shibas are a smart, charming, but stubborn breed, so I've learned from the best!) I also have experience getting a reluctant dog to take his supplements. :) And as I mentioned, I've owned cats my whole life, so great with them, too! I’m an amateur photographer and I love to practice my skills on my furry clients, so expect plenty of photo updates when your pet is in my care! I also leave thorough notes after our visits. If there are plants that need watering or mail to bring in, I'd be happy to do that, too. Questions? Just ask! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your pet!

Safety, trust & environment
I will always make sure your dog is on-leash outside (unless in a fully secure dog park, with permission), make sure to keep all doors locked, keys in appropriate locations, information confidential, and keep a close watch on pets the entire time we are together. As one recommendation notes, I look after them as well as I would my own. :)

Mary is an absolute animal whisperer. Even my skittish rescue with PTSD came right up to her and took treats from her hand. All my kitty babies love her. Highly recommend. Extremely reliable and goes above and beyond.

Schedule
I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule that can accommodate a few walks or drop-ins per day. More notice for bookings or cancellations is of course always appreciated so I can plan ahead accordingly.
