Whether your dog enjoys playing, going for walks, or simply relaxing with lots of affection, I’ll tailor their care to fit their routine and personality. I believe in keeping pet parents informed, so you can expect regular updates and photos during your dog’s stay. I know how reassuring it is to know your pet is happy and well cared for. Lisa is an amazing pet lover, especially of dogs. She is patient, kind, sympathetic and knows how to read dogs; she is amazingly so good that sometimes she knows what they are about to do before they do it! I have seen her with my dogs and hers, and she treats them both the same. She has an awesome yard and plenty of space for my dog to roam, inside and out! My dogs enjoyed their stay with her and weren't as happy as I thought they would be when I picked them up. I will definitely use her again. Great job and thank you again!
She has always had a dog in her life and has spoiled them all beyond words! Home cooked dog-friendly meals, a plethora of toys and beds, and plenty of yard space to run around and sniff out grass. Can’t imagine someone better than Lisa!

Schedule
I work full-time as a teacher Monday through Friday. On weekdays, I leave home around 6:45 a.m. and return by approximately 4:30 p.m. Because of this, I am best suited for dogs that are comfortable being home without a human during the school day. I have two dogs of my own that could be your pet’s company. I also have cameras that helped me keep an eye on the dogs. Outside of work, I’m home for the evenings and provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and affection. On weekends, I’m typically home most of the day, allowing for lots of companionship and quality time with your pet. I’m committed to maintaining your dog’s normal routine as much as possible and will provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in good hands.

Safety, trust & environment
Every dog is different, so I like to tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and the owner’s preferences. Before each stay, we’ll discuss your dog’s routine, sleeping arrangements, exercise needs, and any special instructions so I can provide care that’s as close to home as possible. I have a secure, fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time. My home also has a dog door that can be opened or closed depending on what’s safest and most appropriate for your dog. If your dog is crate trained, I have dog kennels available and am happy to follow your normal crate routine, including during the school day if that’s what they’re accustomed to. If your dog is not crate trained, we’ll discuss the best option to ensure they’re safe and comfortable while I’m at work. My priority is always your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being. On evenings and weekends, I’m home to provide plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and affection.

A typical day
A typical day is centered around making sure your dog feels comfortable, safe, and has plenty of fun! Every pet has a different personality, so I tailor activities to their energy level and preferences. For active dogs, I’m happy to go on walks, play fetch, throw a ball in my large fenced backyard, or engage in interactive play like tug-of-war or a little wrestling if that’s how they enjoy playing. If your dog loves water, I can even set up a kiddie pool for them to splash and cool off. For dogs who prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to provide belly rubs, cuddles, companionship, and a quiet place to relax. Throughout the day, your pet will have regular potty breaks, fresh water, meals according to your schedule, and lots of love and attention. My goal is to make your dog’s stay feel like a fun vacation while giving you peace of mind that they’re being cared for like family.
