The best dog sitting experience I could have asked for! This was my first time boarding my American Bully, Chico, with someone outside of family or dogs he already knows, so I was definitely nervous at first. After doing the meet and greet with Elicia and her 2 dogs, Shadow and Orion, I felt so much better. Her dogs were amazing, very friendly, and Chico got along with them right away. They’re even bigger than him, but everything went great. One of the main reasons I chose Elicia is because she has dogs of her own, and I loved that Chico would have a fun play date and a comfortable sleepover instead of just being boarded somewhere. **Communication and updates** From the very first day, Elicia was excellent with communication. She sent pictures, updates on Chico’s demeanor, how he was feeling, whether he was eating, and how he was settling in. We even FaceTimed, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Like most dogs, Chico didn’t eat right away on the first day, but Elicia handled it perfectly because she clearly has experience with dogs and understands how they adjust. **Care and supervision** What I appreciated most is that Chico was actually supervised and cared for. I previously tried a dog boarding place in the area that I will not name, and Chico came back with scratches on his nose from a fence, which was very upsetting. With Elicia, it was completely different. Chico came back clean, happy, and his nose was perfectly fine. That showed me he was being watched, cared for, and treated the right way. **Environment** Elicia and her husband are very nice, friendly, and easy to talk to. Their backyard is big, which gives the dogs plenty of room to play and enjoy themselves. It felt much more personal and comfortable than a traditional boarding facility. **Reliability** Elicia was also very prompt and on time for the meet and greet, pickup, and drop off. That matters a lot, especially when you’re traveling and trying to coordinate everything. **Worth every dollar** Whatever Elicia charges for dog sitting, she’s absolutely worth it. The peace of mind, the communication, the supervision, and the way she cared for Chico made the entire experience worth every dollar. When it comes to trusting someone with your dog, you want someone who treats them like family, and that’s exactly how I felt with Elicia. - Would I use her again? 100% yes - I travel often for business and family, and I would absolutely have Chico stay with Elicia again. I’m very happy with the experience and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and caring to watch their dog.
