Availability
I work from home, so I am available all day to care for and play with your pup. I take the dogs out twice a day for a 20-minute walk. We also spend much time in the yard playing ball or investigating all the good smells.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard with cameras for added safety. Although I stay outside with the pups, I use soft collars for smaller dogs to ensure they do not squeeze through the bars on the fence. I have two gates inside the house in the kitchen, family, and sunroom rooms where they can hang out during the day. For their safety, pets sleep in a playpen or crate at night. I do not utilize rawhide treats or bones.

I am happy to help train younger dogs and make recommendations. I provide a quiet environment for older dogs. I do know how to give medications.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a quick trip outside and then breakfast. After their meal, we go for a long walk. Back at home, the dogs take a rest. Throughout the day, we go out into the backyard to play ball or frisbee, weather permitting. I also keep a bowl of water outside to keep them hydrated, especially on warm days. On rainy days, we go down into the basement to play ball or tug of war. I also allow the dogs to come into my office and hang out when I don’t have meetings. Dinner is next, and then another long walk. We watch TV for a bit and then another short walk before bed.

Loving pets for over 30 years
Pet care experience
Pets have always been in my life. I have owned dogs, cats, and birds, to name a few. I cannot imagine life without pets. I have been happily married for over 30 years, have one grown son, and three adorable shelties. My pups love to hang out with other pups. I work from home, so I can care for and play with your pup all day. I have extensive experience handling dogs and am sensitive to each dog's unique personality and needs. I will treat your pup like my own in a warm, friendly, and clean environment both inside and out.

We are so thankful for Mary! Our dogs had a great time and we could tell that she really loves our dogs as if they were her family. She is now our go to for when we have to leave our dogs with someone! I highly recommend Mary. Thank you again!

Mary was wonderful and welcomed my puppy with open arms!! I can’t wait for him to go back and see her!

Bentley needed last minute day care accommodations over the holiday weekend and Ms. Mary was able to watch him for me. Her response time is great and she and her husband were very patient with Bentley while he adjusted to a new environment.

Chris was absolutely amazing with CoCo. My dog is a little spoiled and so use to being with just me, however, Chris was able to warm up to CoCo and understand his anxiety about me leaving him. I received pictures of how he got along with the other dogs. Chris provided great feedback about how he adjusted during the daycare visit. She gave me great advice about dogs and their behavior. I felt comfortable with leaving CoCo with Chris and her husband.
