RETIRED "PET LOVER"!
Pet care experience
I have owned and taken care of many fur babies in my life. Dogs and cats are my favorite! I have a Papillon and she plays well with others. I'm retired and have the extra time to play and walk them. I love to "pet sit" for others, they bring me a lot of joy! I had to board my girls in the past in a facility and I felt so guilty because it felt like I was leaving them in a cage. I wished Rover had been an option for me. I would have felt much better knowing my girls were being cared for in a loving home atmosphere. Also, I am competent in my ability to administer medications for special need pets. Although, I have an Angier address, I'm located off 50 and 210 in the McGee's Crossroads area. If this is your first time with ROVER, please take advantage of my $20 promo code below! https://www.rover.com/sit/maryc60172 Your Promo Code: MARYC60172

Mary is wonderful!!! She was fantastic with my very timid dog. I have never felt so comfortable leaving by baby with someone. I would HIGHLY recommend. Without a doubt!!
Mary was wonderful with Lola. a senior dog on meds and visually impaired and deaf. She engaged her with games and walks. We got daily updates that were very sweet!

I can't thank Mary enough for taking such wonderful care of my Charlie while I was traveling! From the moment I dropped him off, I could tell that he was in great hands. Mary was incredibly attentive, ensuring that Charlie felt comfortable and loved throughout the stay. I appreciated the regular updates and photos, which reassured me that my little guy was happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend Mary to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Agreed to board my cat for 5 days, after less than 24 hours she messaged to tell me the cat messed up her blinds and window seal and asked if we would pay for it on top of the $275 sitting fee. I took him back after one night of boarding and had no one to take care of the cat who needed medication twice a day because she texted 2 hours before we were leaving the state asking for money for repairs. He did not receive his medication while we were gone and we paid for all 5 days of boarding just so she would leave us alone about the blinds and window seal even though there's nothing in the Rover policy stating that we needed to cover damages. You shouldn't board animals in your home if you're assuming nothing will get damaged and will ask clients for more than the Rover agreement lays out. This ordeal was expensive and stressful and as much as I hate to give bad reviews I paid so much money and got literally nothing but stress out of it, so I really don't have anything else to base this off of.
