Safety, trust & environment
When taking care of others’ dogs, I follow their schedule strictly so their routine doesn’t get disrupted. I’m personally always very anxious when I leave my dogs in the hands of others while I’m out of town, so I do everything I can to make the owner feel at ease when I’m caring for their pets, including sending picture/video updates throughout their time with me.
Information Mary B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special medical needs or behavioral issues. I do not shy away from either of these, as I dealt with both daily at my job at an animal rescue, but I would like to be aware beforehand so I can prepare myself to give the best care to your pet!
A typical day
I’m more than happy to take your dog on runs or long walks, or even just sit with them for a little while to give them some company & loving! I’m not a fan of public dog parks so I will not be bringing your dog around strange dogs in environments like that (unless requested by you), however I will stimulate their minds with fun scent games, play with them and their toys, take them on long walks, and give them lots of cuddles and love!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life! I’ve always had at least 4 animals in my house at a time, and I currently have 2 dogs of my own. I was a manager at an animal rescue for a year and a half, and I was a volunteer at two different rescues for one year before that. I cared for hundreds of animals during my time as a manager, many of whom had behavioral or medical issues. My pitbull has epilepsy and my Dutch shepherd has anxiety issues, so I’m aware of different medical issues and how to deal with them. I also have experience giving oral medication, taking temperatures, giving injectable medication, etc.

This is our 4th or 5th time booking Mary, and everytime she never disappoints! My dogs just adore her. She is very sweet and provides communication after each appointment. I know when I’m away my girls are taken great care of because of Mary!!!
