I work from home two days per week (typically Mon and Fri) and for the days that I'm in the office I can easily come home during my lunch breaks as I work less than 2 miles from my home. I stay local on most weekends and don't anticipate a lot of upcoming travel or vacations.

I have a large backyard that is securely fenced all around the property. The yard provides a lot of space for your dog to run and play and plenty of shaded area as well. We also love to have the doggies inside the house too. I live in a safe cul-de-sac with other long time home owners. I live very close to all major freeways (101, 280/680, 87) as well as 3 miles from San Jose airport.

For the days I work in the office, typically Tues, Wed, Thurs I will come home during my lunch break at noon to check on them, and have some play or petting/cuddle time. Your dog will need to sleep independently ie. in a dog bed. In order for me to provide the best care for your dog, I would request a pre-meet so I can get to know you and your dog and you and your dog can get to know me and my children (if they're available). That way your dog can get acclimated to me and my home before their stay.
A typical day
My backyard is a dog haven as it is has a large grassy area where we can play fetch. I also will take your dog on daily walks around the neighborhood.

Animals have been an important part of our lives for many years. Both of my children grew up riding horses from a very young age (as soon as they could walk) and as they grew older learned all of the necessary care that a horse needs. As they reached school age they had a strong desire for their own pet. We started with hermit crabs and later graduated to guinea pigs. Our most recent guinea pig Stella lived a long life of 7 years because of the love and attention she received for so many years. My kids have always wanted a dog and this would give us an opportunity to get to know many breeds. We have a loving and caring home that we would love to share with your furry friend which would in turn bring us the love of having an animal in the house again.

This is our first time with Mary. We are very happy with the result. We had a hunch that our dog would have a good time stay. The pictures and captions during the trip showed that they enjoy each other very much. After the trip, it showed our dog is well taken care of and is just as happy as before the trip. When we mention Mary, our dog shows excited and wanting to play with Mary again. We made excellent choice this time. Definitely rebook.

Mary took care of Pepper for a week and we couldn’t be happier! Mary is very responsive, patient and sweet. We can tell Pepper really enjoyed her time there. I would definitely have Pepper stay with her again next time when we are out for vacation.
