I am unable to board pets in my home due to my sweet cat Noelle who gets stressed with other animals, but I am available to come to your pet. I will ensure your pet is taken care of to your standards and will ensure a safe, clean, and happy time for your pet while you are away, even if its a simple mid day walk.
Information Mary Anna S. would like to know about your pet
Any special needs/requests please just let me know before-hand! I have experience with senior dogs and cats, a little with dogs that are hard of hearing/deaf and some with vision issues, and experience with completely deaf cats. I also have experience administering medication both orally (just pill orally and mixed in with food/treat) and injected. I am familiar with dog CPR but have luckily never had to use it on animals, just humans :).
A typical day
For dogs, I can take them for long or short walks with jogging/running bursts depending on your dog's breed/energy levels, and we can play fun enrichment games with treats tied up in towels for them to find or hidden in a little ice cube, throwing around a ball, tug of war, chase in the backyard, or even just watching out the window together! For cats I can provide a variety of exciting toys if they dont have any and play with them depending on their energy levels, put on cat enrichment videos that we can watch together, and of course give lots of pets and cuddles.

Pet care experience
I grew up with cats, two dogs, bunnies, fish, etc and have been taking care of various animals of my own/my family's plus pet sitting for friends/family/neighbors over 15 years. I love animals and would love to help out with your fur babies whenever you need! I have experience with various forms of administering medications, special food needs, long walks for 1-3 dogs at once, litter box cleaning, playtime, and of course pets and cuddles. I do work full time in Gainesville so my availability is more weeknights and Saturday/Sunday all day, and I am not able to host any animals.

Reviews

Mary Anna was great. Communicated well. Sent lots of pics.
Mary Anna was great, and we will definitely ask her to pet sit again in the future. We have two cats, one of which is very shy. She was super patient and actually got our shy cat to come out and play. It gave us so much peace of mind to know they were happy and being loved on. She was reliable, followed all our instructions, and communicated throughout the trip with updates and photos. We’d recommend her to anyone looking for a great pet sitter!
