Caring and reliable service
I’m an experienced pet sitter willing to care for your pets when you’re unable to. Mature and patient, I am an adult who is reliable and provides attention to detail when caring for your pet. I have lived in Gordonsville for 40+ years and had cats and dogs throughout this time. Prior to providing boarding or pet/house sitting service, I will meet with you and your pet to understand your needs and ensure a good fit for all. For day and overnight care, I will provide meticulous notes and/or text messages about feeding, potty breaks, etc. I have experience administering medicine as well as pet/house sitting for multiple pets (up to 20) at the same time. An additional $5 will be added for each drop in visit and walking service, if more than 10 miles from my home.

We felt very safe leaving our dog with Mary. She was incredibly attentive and kept us updated with excellent communication throughout her stay. A true gift. Mary watched over our senior dog with hip and knee issues. Flawlessly administered medication and provided frequent updates throughout the day. She gave our family the peace of mind that we were looking for. Truly the best dog sitter I have ever encountered and extremely kind to humans too, thank you Mary!!

Mary Alice was wonderful. We greatly appreciated her taking the dogs out mid day during this frigid weather. The girls who are very shy wagged their tails and were immediately comfortable with her. We were very happy to have met Mary Alice and would recommend her without hesitation.
Mary Alice took great care of Gordy and sent us pictures of him every morning and evening. She obviously loves dogs and knows how to keep them happy, safe & healthy. She also knows how to keep their owners happy! We highly recommend her and will use her services again in the future, if needed.

I work from home and have a family of four so someone is almost always home. I try to keep the same routine for your pet as they experience at home.
