PROMPT RESPONSES Pet care fits well into my weekly routine as I currently have a flexible schedule. I am due to graduate from university at the end of July and am on a zero-hour contract with a real estate firm, where I am typically booked in on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with additional days depending on workload and auction schedules. Outside of this, I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility to provide consistent care, visits, and attention throughout the week. My routine is generally adaptable, so I can plan pet care around existing commitments to ensure I am reliable and punctual. Because of this flexibility, I am able to offer a good level of availability during weekdays and can accommodate regular routines, feeding schedules, and any specific care needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritise safety, trust, and consistency in both my own home and the owner’s home. I always follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions provided. When caring in a client’s home, I am respectful, tidy, and mindful that I am in their pet’s familiar environment. I make sure all doors, windows, and access points are secure before leaving, and I pay close attention to keeping pets safe and comfortable at all times. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, whether they are more independent or require extra attention and reassurance. I aim to create a calm and stable environment so they feel relaxed while their owner is away. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own and every home with care and respect, ensuring owners can feel confident and at ease throughout the booking.
Information Martyna L. would like to know about your pet
It’s really important to me to understand each pet’s individual needs and routines before a booking, so I can provide the best possible care. Please don’t feel hesitant or disheartened about mentioning any unusual habits or specific routines your pet may have, no matter how small or “quirky” they might seem. I completely understand that many pets have unique behaviours or patterns they’ve become used to over time, whether that’s specific feeding routines, ways they like to be approached, or little habits that help them feel comfortable. I actually find this really interesting, and I always take the time to adapt to each pet as an individual. Please let me know about any medical needs, dietary requirements, sensitivities, or behavioural traits such as anxiety, reactivity, or nervousness around new people or animals. The more detail I have, the better I can replicate their normal routine and help them feel settled and secure. My priority is always to make sure each pet feels safe, understood, and comfortable while their owner is away.
A typical day
A typical day with a pet depends on their personality, energy level, and routine. I always start by making sure their basic needs are met, including feeding, fresh water, and any care instructions from the owner. For more active dogs, I really enjoy getting outdoors and keeping them stimulated. I’m personally very active as well—I go on regular 5K and 10K runs and often go on solo hikes. I’ve also taken my aunt’s cocker spaniel, Maya, on longer adventures, including a three-hour hike in the Peak District, which she absolutely loved. For high-energy dogs, I’m happy to provide long walks, varied routes, playtime, and plenty of exercise to keep them engaged and happy. For more relaxed or low-energy pets, I’m just as comfortable adapting to a calmer routine. I have a small dog myself, so I’m used to balancing exercise with plenty of downtime, cuddles, and a slower pace when needed. I understand not every pet needs constant activity, and I always adjust to what suits them best. Throughout the day, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for, whether that’s through active outdoor time or quiet companionship at home.

Pet care experience
Hi my name is Martyna and I live in Greater Manchester, Rochdale. My family has a little teddy bear Pomeranian named Ruby for the last 8 years and I lover her SO much. When I was at University I would make my sister send me pictures and video updates on her. I've always loved animals and enjoy spending time with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I do everything I can to make sure both you and your pet to feel comfortable and at ease. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own and will make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and cuddles throughout their stay. Whether your dog loves being active or prefers a quieter environment, I'm happy to accommodate their needs and routine. I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where your dog can feel at home while you're away. I will also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is being well looked after. With new clients, I like to arrange a meet and greet before accepting a booking request to make sure everyone is comfortable and it's a good fit. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
