DROP-OFFS & PICK-UPS take place in my garage to keep everyone safe. We’ll do the handoff there, and I can usually sneak your pup straight out to the backyard, where I do introductions with the other dogs. This helps prevent the dogs from becoming overstimulated and barking when someone new enters the house. I’ll immediately send you a video showing you the inside and outside of my home again to help ease any worries. If garage drop-off/pick-up is an issue, please be sure to let me know before booking. MY PETS: I have one friendly Shih Tzu, and I only host dogs of similar size and temperament to help keep everyone safe and comfortable. UPDATES: I usually send 3-4 updates throughout the day (morning, afternoon & evening). If you're a little worried or nervous about leaving your pup, I'll send lots of extra photos and videos to help put your mind at ease. I also often post late-night YouTube clips so you can check in and see how your pup is doing. OUTDOOR SPACE: Large fully fenced yard with a doggy door, cameras, lights, and a covered dog run. We go outside several times a day for play and potty breaks. MEALS: I use gates for any pups who feel a little extra protective around food. For picky eaters, I can add a topper of lean meat. Currently, I cannot accommodate dogs with severe allergies as there is always a chance of food contact. HOME ENVIRONMENT: Dogs roam freely in my dog lounge where I work and sleep with low profile furniture and tons of doggy beds. I adjust the heat or AC as needed, and I put sweaters on chilly days or raincoats when its raining. I have central air and heat, CO detectors, cameras, fire alarms, and extinguishers. SANITATION & CLEANING: After each stay we vacuum, wipe down surfaces, and use plant-based flea spray on furniture and carpets. Toys are washed in hot water with vinegar. Water bowls are sanitized several times a day. HEALTH & SAFETY: My dog is vaccinated and on flea prevention. I minimize risks by avoiding dog parks and walks, but we have plenty of safe playtime in my fully enclosed yard. Your baby is never left alone while in my care.

Typical Day Morning: Early potty breaks start around 6 a.m., followed by breakfast or a light morning snack around 8 a.m. During the day, the dogs usually hang out and play in my dog lounge while I work on my computer, or curl up next to me for a nap on my large sofa bed. Playtime: On rainy days, we stay cozy indoors and play with toys. When the weather is nice, the dogs get plenty of time throughout the day to run around the yard, play, and explore. On sunny days, we also like to have little picnics on the lawn, and I'll sometimes work on my computer outside while we all soak up some sunshine. After playtime, everyone gets the treats they brought from home. If your pup doesn't have any tummy sensitivities, I'm also happy to offer simple, human-grade treats, usually plain freeze-dried chicken or chicken jerky. Evening: We usually have dinner around 6 pm, followed by potty breaks and fresh clean water bowls. I make sure to clean everyone's paws and bottoms before bedtime. Sleep: At night I give extra comfort so no one feels lonely. Cuddly dogs sleep with me, and independent dogs pick a cozy bed nearby.
