I am a 3rd year Veterinary student looking to make a little money on the side while i’m in university. I have been looking after dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, pet birds, sheep and goats for 15 years. I have taken care of pets with specific medical conditions and other medical needs. I can care for your pets in my parent’s home or your home.

Martine looked after our dog Elliott when I had to unexpectedly work away from home. I have never left him with a sitter so wanted to find someone who could look after him with the care that I wanted and was able to also attend to his health needs. As Martine was a vet student with an amazingly caring personality I couldn't have been more pleased to have found her and felt so reassured that my boy was getting the best love, care and attention. I've reached out to her ever since and knowing that she is able to respond so flexibly to our needs has been what's kept me coming back to her.

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule due studying at university and to using Rover as my sole job for the school year. I am available during the week and weekends.

As a vet student, I provide attentive, compassionate, and safety-focused care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. In both my home and my clients’ homes, I prioritize maintaining a pet’s normal schedule, including feeding, exercise, playtime, medication administration, and plenty of affection and enrichment. In my veterinary education I have learned how to handle certain pet behavior, training, keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away. I treat every animal as if they were my own.
