I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I can easily build pet visits and walks around my day rather than squeezing them into a rushed window. That flexibility lets me be responsive too — if you need a last-minute visit or your schedule changes, I can usually adjust to make it work. Your pet's wellbeing isn't an add-on for me; it's something I can genuinely prioritize and check in on throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care as I would my own. I follow your instructions closely — feeding schedules, medication, routines, and any specific rules you have (e.g. no furniture, certain rooms off-limits, leash preferences). I always make sure doors and gates are securely closed before and after visits, keep an eye out for anything that seems off with your pet's behaviour or health, and will contact you straight away if I'm ever concerned. For walks, I keep dogs securely leashed at all times, avoid busy roads or off-leash areas unless you've said it's okay, and stay alert to other dogs, wildlife, or hazards along the route. I also make sure your home is left exactly as I found it — lights, doors, and any security measures back to how you left them. Your pet's safety and comfort always come first, and I'm happy to send updates or photos during visits so you have peace of mind while you're away.

Information Martina T. would like to know about your pet

To make sure I can give your pet the best care, it's helpful to know in advance: Feeding schedule — what, how much, and when Medication — dosage and timing, if any Behaviour & temperament — anxious, reactive, shy, great with other dogs, etc. Health/mobility issues — especially for puppies or seniors (e.g. can't manage stairs, easily overheats) Leash/walk preferences — harness vs collar, favourite/avoided routes, reactivity to other dogs or people Access instructions — key location, alarm codes, which doors/gates to use Emergency contact & vet

A typical day

I love mixing things up to keep walks fun and engaging — not just a lap around the block. Depending on your dog's energy and preferences, that might mean a proper sniff-heavy walk (letting them explore at their own pace), a bit of fetch or tug in the garden, or some basic training reinforcement using treats if you're working on commands. For puppies, I'll keep things short and playful with plenty of breaks, and for seniors, I'll slow things right down and focus on comfort over distance.

Dog lover with RSPCA experience

Pet care experience

I've been around dogs my whole life, starting in childhood, and it's a passion that's never faded. I raised my own dog from a puppy, so I understand firsthand what it takes to house-train, socialize, and build good habits with young dogs — from teaching basic commands to managing that puppy energy safely. I also volunteer with the RSPCA, which has given me hands-on experience with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, including rescues, anxious dogs, and seniors needing a little extra patience and gentle care. Whether it's a quick drop-in to feed and let your pup out, or a longer walk to tire them out, I treat every dog like my own — with patience, attention, and genuine love for the job.

Martina has looked after my dog multiple times, and I always know they're in the best hands. She's incredibly attentive — she noticed my dog seemed off one day and texted me straight away just to check. She's reliable, communicates constantly with updates and photos, and genuinely treats my pet like her own. Beyond the pet care, Martina is just a warm, trustworthy, and caring person — the kind of friend you can count on. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who'll give their pet real love and attention.
