I started caring for animals at a very young age as my parents would bring home injured animals we took care of, which shaped my passion I have for all animals today. I have personally owned and fostered various animals including several special needs seniors and a puppy. From potty training, utilizing diapers for my senior dog to dealing with intense separation anxiety, I have been able to get exposed to various breeds and special needs dogs. Especially fostering has helped me gain experience with difficult situations and behaviors. I was able to help dogs in need and train them to be able to be adopted by their future families. I also used to volunteer for the humane society. From my personal experience having to board my pets, I understand how stressful it can be to leave your family member behind when traveling. My goal is to make sure you are informed throughout and making your pet’s stay as comfortable as possible with lots of snuggles and play. I work from home so I am home for the most part except for minor errands. This will help reduce your pets anxiety of being in an environment other than home. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby and making them part of our family while you are away! I also pet sit other animals and recently watched a bunny. I owned bunnies myself among other pets such as hamsters, rats, and Guinea pigs. The price is a lot less so please just message me for inquiries. I like to keep pets busy by going to the yard and walks which will help get their energy out and be distracted from missing mom and / or dad. Pets are like family and I’m looking forward to sharing my time with your family member! My fenced yard will ensure your pet is safe with me. Being at home during the day also helps ensure your dog has the attention and care they deserve! I have experience with various dogs including ones that do not care for other dogs or have anxiety being alone. At the meet and greet I love to understand all aspects of what makes your pet feel safe and happy including little tricks as the thunder jacket or special snuggles they enjoy. I will make sure to listen to you and your pets needs to make your pet’s stay pleasant and provide you with a peace of mind so you can focus on your time away without having to worry about your pet. I also just recently completed a first aid course for dogs and cats provided by the American Red Cross. I also like to note that I try to use natural cleaners whenever possible, have an air filter machine and do not spray my yard in case your pet is sensitive to chemicals!

Martina is as always great with our senior dog Nicki! I know our dog will be well taken care of and given plenty of attention. Martina sends us photo/video updates at least a couple of times a a day. We have used Martina times and will do so again! She's great!

Martina was just the best!!! It was our first time to board our 15 y/o Maltipoo with someone other than family, so we were a little nervous to do so. However, after first meeting Martina, I knew our dog was in great hands! Martina sent us updates including pictures/videos at least twice a day. Schedule
I work from home so your pet will get maximum attention! I take them out first thing in the morning and then will be able to play during the day and provide exercise!

Safety, trust & environment
My fenced yard ensures your pet is safe while I take him or her outside. Doors are always locked to ensure even the biggest escape artist stands no chance! I also pay special attention to cleaning supplies and we do not use pesticides which further helps the sensitive noses stay happy!

A typical day
I like to walk first thing in the morning. Most dogs love to be outside so we will go check out the neighborhood and after that relax in the yard. I have a big house so they will be able to roam around and explore their temporary home away from home. Lots of snuggles will make your pet feel loved during their time away from you!
