WFH looking for 4 legged company
Hi there! I’m new to the app and looking to spend sometime with company as I work from home. I have taken care of my dogs back home since the age of 12, one being a Shih Tzu and the other a French Bulldog, both in-house dogs and I’m comfortable with routines and needs that come with smaller breeds. Since moving to the UK, I’ve spent time with dogs at parks and in friend’s homes, and I’m now looking to reconnect with this part more officially. Because I work from home, I can offer a relaxed, low-stress environment a with loads of companionship, potty breaks and even send updates throughout the day! In my home, dogs are welcome to join me for a cuddle in bed or sleep their crate - I’m happy to follow your rules/routines at home! Happy to meet up if you think I’m a good match.

I live in a flat with plenty of green spaces less than 20 minutes away. I currently live with one other person (who loves dogs too) and the terrace around the flat is completely gated.

Martina is one of the warmest and most caring people I have ever met. When my dog (a 6-year-old blue merle collie met her, he instantly wagged his tail and loved her. I felt safe and trusted to leave him with Martina at any time it would be needed. She also supported Yogi with her kind heart and care during the time of his recovery from surgery. She was gentle and reassuring, which had a huge impact not only on Yogi but on us. She has a natural therapeutic and calming personality. I would trust her to leave Yogi with her at any time + bonus is that she might make your dog bilingual, as she also speaks fluent Spanish :-)

To me, dogs are very special beings; they aren't in our lives by chance, but by destiny. I’ve had dogs since I was a child and I like large breeds. However, for the past 12 years, I’ve had a Shih Tzu and a Frenchie. I currently live only with my Frenchie, TINTO, a very special, loving, obedient, and sensitive companion. On many occasions, I have had to leave him in someone else's care, and TINTO has been very fortunate to find Martina, his caregiver, his friend, and, in short, his favorite human. Martina looked after my dog Roma and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She sent us constant photos and updates, took her on lovely walks, and spoiled her as if she were her own. She gave her so much love, attention, and playtime that she was genuinely happy, and you could see it in every photo and video, as well as when we picked her up. She followed all our instructions perfectly, and we felt completely at ease knowing Roma was in her hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust Martina with Roma again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and responsible pet caregiver ♥️ Thanks so much, Martina!

Schedule
I work from home and usually connected from 09:30 to 17:00 however my tasks are extremely flexible and I’m encouraged to spend sometime outside so would be able to go for regular shorter walks and a longer one in the afternoon. My weekends are looking pretty free at the moment, I like to go to a work out class at least once a week and that is around the corner and I love a walk in search of a good pastry/coffee/matcha.
