I'll love your dog!
I am a lifelong dog lover and have been walking dogs professionally for 16 years. I have also had the pleasure of fostering over 20 rescue dogs in my home. I am very focused on meeting your dog's needs, dietary restrictions, keeping them intellectually stimulated, and giving them lots of love and praise. They are free to roam the house and go on the furniture. I have a small fenced-in backyard for potty breaks and a screened-in porch where everyone likes to relax and "guard" the neighborhood in warm weather. I have a Yorkie mix who likes to keep everyone in order from her vantage point on the sofa. My experience dog sitting with Rover.com has been great. I send lots of pictures and updates because I know how difficult it is to be away from your "baby". If your pet has any special bedding or toys, feel free to bring them along with you so your pet can feel even more at home. I look forward to spoiling and loving your furry family member while you're away. I live only four miles away from the Norfolk International Airport and am only a few of miles away from the entrance to I 64. I am very close to downtown Norfolk and Ghent.

Bobbie had another great stay with Martina!
Once again, my dog had a great time with Martina! She sent tons of pictures and my dog loved playing with the other dogs.

Mrs. Martina was great for Chandler and Chessa. She boarded them for two weeks and sent pics and updates every day.
Martina was great with our pets. She sent pics and daily messages while we were away. She was very patient with them and cared for them as if they belonged to her. Would use her again if we needed to.
Martina is a wonderful cat sitter! She cares for our kitties as if they were her own. She is also our dog walker, and our dog is crazy about her. We are so lucky that she helps care for our pets!

I am retired now. Taking care of dogs is my main focus. My Yorkie is very tiny (less than 8 lbs.) so I can only board dogs who are on the small side.

I have a fenced in yard and a screened in porch. I never leave pets alone outside. I also have a big crate if you need it. Pets usually sleep in my room in their beds or in a crate if you prefer.

I walk the dogs once a day (weather permitting) and sometimes take them to the bark park. My backyard is fenced in and is convenient for a potty breaks throughout the day.
