I absolutely love caring for animals and always treat every pet as if they were my own. I take the time to get to know their personality and routines, so whether your pet is shy and gentle, full of beans, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities, from playful one-year-olds to senior dogs needing special attention. I’ve cared for blind dogs and pets with allergies, so I understand how important it is to be attentive to their unique health and comfort needs. I’m also comfortable administering medication if required, and always approach each furry friend with calmness and care. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds, from the playful and affectionate Bernese Mountain Dog, to the high-energy and alert nature of hunting dogs like Pointers and Greyhounds, to the sweet (and sometimes stubborn!) personalities of smaller breeds like Beagles and Cavalier Spaniels. Each one has taught me something new, and I genuinely love getting to know their quirks and routines. If your pet is staying overnight, I’ll make sure you feel connected and reassured with regular updates, photos, and videos. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pets, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing they’re in caring, experienced hands. I’ve also worked as a sitter on other platforms and would be happy to provide references upon request. Caring for animals is not just something I do, it’s something I love. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the same level of care and affection I’d want for my own :)

Martina agreed to care for our spaniel Scout at short notice. It was a great experience. We received frequent updates and it was clear Scout was very happy and relaxed in their company. We would definitely recommend!
Martina is a very confident dog walker. She was happy to let Bertie off lead on a walk (which I told her she could do). Bertie took to her straight away and she is obviously a natural lover of dogs.
Martina is the perfect dog sitter! She’s super friendly, always on time and sends lots of lovely pics/ videos each day. My dog bounds into her house everytime he goes and is so happy to see her. She’s been flexible when I’ve been stuck on late trains and just generally amazing - highly recommend!
Martina and her partner took great care of Amber! She had a super fun day out in the park, lots of play and running, followed by a quick wash to clean the mud away and a nice cuddle ☺️ they sent plenty of videos and pictures, which was great. Thank you Martina!
Alfie had the best day with Martina and Matt! They met up with us in advance to meet Alfie (our 2 year old cockapoo) and were lovely with him. I dropped him off at their house and he was already pleased to see them again 😊 I got regular updates throughout the day and they took Alfie to the park and he played a lot - he was so nice and tired when we picked him up. Would really recommend Martina and Matt to look after your pooch!
Martina is the perfect dog sitter. She has completely responded to the needs of our dog. Already at the meet and greet she quickly won the heart of our dog, so that Enya is full of anticipation in the house the next day. She and her partner played a lot with Enya and went for a walk with her. She regularly sent me pictures and videos so I knew how Enya was doing. We got a good-humoured and tired dog back. It's a pity that we were only in London for vacation, we would definitely use Martina's sitting services more often and can recommend them without reservation. All the best Silke

Schedule
I work from home, so I’m very flexible and able to give your pet lots of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to host them at my home, where they’ll have a secure garden to enjoy and a calm space to relax in. If you’re away for a few days, I’ll follow their usual routine, including walk times, feeding, and any special needs, to keep things familiar and stress-free. You’ll also receive regular photo updates for peace of mind while you're away.

Your pet will be welcomed into a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so they’ll have my full attention. Since I work from home, I’m around all day to keep them company, and they’ll also have access to a secure fenced garden for play and fresh air.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a relaxed morning walk to get us moving. I live next to Lloyd Park, which is perfect for walks and outdoor time. There’s also an enclosed off-lead area where your dog can safely run, play, and explore if they enjoy a bit more freedom. Throughout the day, your pet will have plenty of company, cuddles, and play breaks, whether it’s with their favourite toys or just relaxing in the garden. I always tailor activities to your pet’s energy level and personality, making sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for while you’re away.

- Before meeting your furry friend, it’s helpful to know how they behave around other dogs and people. Do they need to stay on lead at all times, or can they be off lead safely, especially in the enclosed dog park nearby? Knowing if they respond well to commands off lead is important for their safety. I also like to understand their food habits ,some dogs tend to hoover up everything on the floor, so I’ll take care to watch that closely. Additionally, please let me know about any allergies or special dietary needs. This information helps me provide the best, safest, and most comfortable care for your pet from day one.
