I'm retired and have lots of time to share with my new buddies, because all the dogs I care for become my buddies. I generally give the dogs 3 walks a day, and if they have good recalls will take them once a day to a dog friendly park so they can run and play with other dogs.

A typical day
I usually give the dog a walk around the block in the morning, a more extensive run or walk in the afternoon, and another walk in the evening. There are 3 dog friendly parks around here- Pt Isobel, the Albany Bulb, and the Berkeley Marina. If your dog has good recall I will let them run in one of these locations every day. Otherwise we can walk there. If your dog is a swimmer I will let them swim in one of these locations regularly. Playing fetch in the yard or hanging out with some of my other dog buddies is often included

I've owned 5 dogs and lived with many more. I tend to take one dog at a time and every one wants to come back. Most of the dogs I've cared for end up coming back multiple times. I'm a bit of a dog whisperer.

Complete 5 Star experience!!! Martin was great and he made us feel safe and confident that Bao would be super cared for. Martin takes time to get to know your dog before the boarding, so that together you can come up with a plan to make sure that your dog's needs are understood and met. Martin made excellent suggestions and really showed that he is a dog whisperer. We will definitely use Martin again!!
It sounded like the overnights went alright. Martin enjoys going on outings with friends and dogs at Point Isabel and the best matched dogs are probably ones that are dog-social. Unfortunately, Ronin does not do well with dogs and prefers solo walks and perhaps not the right match for long term stays. Martin provided solo walks and let me know this were going fine the first night.
Martin was great! He welcomed our dog into his home for 4 days and took him on extended walks in the parks. Our dog loved all the attention and contact.
Martin was a wonderful sitter for Wilbur! He has tremendous care and sensitivity around making dogs feel at ease in his home. Martin was eager to learn Wilbur’s routine, set up a meet and greet, and even provided recommendations on things I could do beforehand to get Wilbur ready for “staycation”. I would absolutely recommend Martin!
