Having returned to the U.S., I’m thrilled to bring my expertise to my Rover clients. I'm flexible and available to accommodate my clients throughout the Lower Keys. I schedule my day around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. Whether it’s a quick visit or an overnight stay. I’ll always do my best to balance any other responsibilities while keeping my pet care commitments front and center.

Safety, trust & environment
My experience as an in-home/overnight sitter has prepared me for many things. Including taking care of many pet at a time. Most of my island clients had 5-7 dogs, Including a client with 13 pets of her own, as well as a kitten rescue. I sat for 20 kitten plus her 13 at the same time! Needless to say, organization is key to keeping control of the household. 💕 Once I've been booked, I ask my clients to prepare a “Cheat Sheet”. This usually includes emergency numbers, Vet info, feeding instructions, walking routines & routes, playtime and even instructions for maintaining the home. I’ve also taken First Aid for pets and will introduce myself to your vet if requested. Lastly, we can’t forget the pictures and videos I make sure to send. Not only do they put a smile on my clients' faces, but peace of mind knowing all is well at home.🐾
Information Marti G. would like to know about your pet
It very important for me to know any special needs or behaviors your pet may have. Even the little quirks will help us both have a fantastic experience and keeps us both safe.
A typical day
When I'm hanging out with "the kids" I like to have pups get out as much energy as they need. Dog parks are always a great way to have them run free and get that energy out, but there's always walks, hikes or maybe just throwing the ball in the backyard. Then spend time relaxing and unwinding before I leave them. As for kitties, hangout, play & give as much attention as they want. Ultimately, It's really up to each individual pets & their personalities.

Pet care experience
My experiences began in 2016 when I took a vacation to the beautiful island of Roatan, HN. Two months later I launched my In-home pet sitting business and in 2019 I started a much needed animal rescue. Needless to say caring for animals is a big part of who I am. I can't image doing anything else. 🐾🩵🐾🩵

Reviews

Thank you Rover for helping us find Marti to care of our two BernerDoodles! We loved the peace of mind having such genuine care taken of our two boys! Marti was great about keeping us informed and sending photos! Thank you so much!

Very personable, my dogs seemed to take to her! She went on time and as far as I can tell did a good job!

Marti has been fantastic since the start. She is friendly, responsible, quick to respond and takes a lot of pride in what she does. Having a professional sitter really makes travel a lot more enjoyable when you know your fur children are getting great care. When we arrived home our animals were calm and our home was just how we left it. I definitely would recommend Marti to anyone looking for pet care.

I been looking for someone as perfect as Martí
