We've always had cats. About two years ago we decided to adopt a little pup that my friend fostered-this was still in South Africa. In the meantime our family (humans and furries) have relocated to the USA. Our doggy has made us many new friends in this lovely country and we often look after these furry friends when their humans go away.

We have a cat and dog and Mienke(dog) is a real little shepherd when it comes to sisi cat and children. Mienke is really good with other dogs and she enjoys having the furry company (she seems quite sad whenever her friends have to leave!) We stick to the owner's requests regarding feeding, discipline etc. Our huge doggy park allows for ample playtime. And our aparment is right across the park. We also live in a quite part of the neighborhood so no busy traffic etc. We don't allow dogs on the beds and furniture (even though ours try to sneak on every now and then...and as you'll see in some photos... absolutely no pets on furniture 😉)...and cats aren't pets are they...? We do not crate our pets-they are allowed everywhere in the apartment. I often find that the dogs we sit will either sleep under our bed at night, or next to our bed-it all depends where they feel comfortable/what they choose.

Marisca was a gem! We were in town for a wedding and our previous plans for our sweet pup fell through at the last minute. Marisca came to our hotel room and took wonderful care of Libby. She walked her, played with her, and gave her lots of love. She sent several updates with photos and we were able to focus on and enjoy the festivities. Thank you so much!
Marisca and her family took care of my two fur babies while I was gone. I was stress free the whole time since she kept me updated at all times.
Marisca and her family were great sitters for our pets Iggy and Lily. Our pets settled in very easily and we got great pictures daily along with updates. They got a lot of love and attention and had a great Thanksgiving stay with Marisca’s family. We would be happy to board Iggy and Lily with her again and would highly recommend her to others that need pet sitting.

Schedule
I'm a stay-at-home mom and hubby still works from home most of the week. We have a large doggy park where we stay. Usually we'll take the dogs out when we wake up, then again around noon, at 5pm and before bedtime. Apart from the huge bark bark with plenty of playtime, we also live in a quiet neighborhood that makes walks safe and fun.
