Hey! My name is Martha and I have grown up having pets all my life. My 17 year old dog Rolo (Yorkshire terrier mix) passed away this year and I just want the chance to be around animals again. I have experience dog sitting, cat sitting and dog walking as well as caring for my own pets. I'm a trustworthy, hardworking and reliable individual with a background in psychology and charity work. I'm taking some time off work at the moment so I'm very flexible with my availability. I am available weekdays and weekends. Typically, I prefer mornings and afternoons for dog walking, but I can also do evenings if needed. The length of the walks I offer depends on the needs of your pet. I am happy to walk for up to 2 hours with bigger dogs. I do not offer training or grooming but I am happy to water plants, take in post etc. I can do brief visits to check in on your pet, feed them/play with them during the day or longer / overnight visits to keep them company if you are away. Im always open to have a call/meet up so that you can get to know me a little better before working together. Looking forward to hearing from you

Martha was very responsive and flexible in looking after our rescue. She was open to a meet and greet and very receptive to our dog’s specific needs. Martha offered good flexibility according to our dog’s activity level (e.g. we could pay a little extra for an extra walk), and kept us updated on how he was doing throughout the day. We will happily book Martha again to look after Cloud!
Martha has looked after our whippet, Lady for us on three long weekends, and we’ve been delighted every time. Lady was always happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable in her care. It gave us real peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands while we were away. She was great at getting walks in and bringing lady to her favourite places. We’d happily recommend Martha to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.
You truly couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter than Martha. She is extremely conscientious and communicative. She immediately put my (sometimes nervous) dog and cat at ease, responding appropriately and affectionately to their behaviour and specific needs. She showed such kindness and patience to my elderly cat in particular. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
