Looking after dogs fits seamlessly into my daily routine, as I work from home and manage my own schedules. This gives me a lot of flexibility when it comes to caring for Noa, my toy poodle, as well as any other pets we might have in my care. I can easily adjust my time to ensure that all their needs are met, from regular walks and playtime to feeding and administering any required medication. My setup allows me to be present and attentive to the pets, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve throughout the day. I can look after small and medium size dogs and any with not excessive shedding.

Safety, trust & environment

Home is designed with safety and comfort in mind for both Noa and any other pets I care for. I can easily make the house safer by closing doors or creating designated pet-friendly areas when needed. For added peace of mind, I have cameras set up so I can quickly check on Noa if we need to step out for a short period. The garden is fully fenced, providing a secure outdoor space for him to play and explore. Additionally, when I got Noa, I made sure to have all the necessary equipment, including crates and multiple beds, to ensure he’s always comfortable and has a safe space when needed. Noa is also neutered, so there are no concerns with that. These precautions allow us to maintain a secure, loving, and well-organized environment for any pets in our care.

Pet care experience

I have always had a strong connection with dogs, having grown up in a household where we were fortunate to have family dogs around. This experience provided me with a solid foundation in caring for and understanding the needs of dogs. Three years ago, I took the step of getting my own dog, a toy poodle, who lives with me and my partner. He’s incredibly friendly and loving, and has become an important part of our lives. Over the years, I have gained a lot of hands-on experience caring for him. From daily walks and playtime to administering medicine when needed, I am comfortable managing all aspects of a dog's care. I ensure his well-being is always a priority, from making sure he stays active and engaged, to meeting all of his physical and emotional needs. Because of our experience, friends who have dogs always trust me to look after their pets when they need a sitter. I regularly have dogs staying at home, and I treat them as part of our family, ensuring they feel comfortable, loved, and well-cared for. With both my personal experience and the trust we’ve earned from others, I feel confident in my ability to provide a loving and attentive environment for any dog I care for.

This was Akari’s first stay with Marta, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the start, Marta was professional, kind, and incredibly reassuring. She shared regular updates and lovely pictures, which really helped put my mind at ease. Akari looked happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Thank you for looking after him so well – we’ll definitely be booking again!
