I am very accustomed to all types of dogs (including those with anxiety and/or disabilities) and will always inform you should there be another puppy already booked with me during your chosen dates or if there are any requests during your dog's stay. I do not book multiple clients unless all the owners are 100% comfortable in doing so.

Information Marta C. would like to know about your pet

With regard to dog boarding, I would need to know if your dog is potty trained. It is not an issue if they are not, it is just so I can prepare the house accordingly to minimise damage. I would also need to know if they have any problems sleeping and/or any fears.

A typical day

I usually take dogs for walks in the park (depending on the dog and their needs, of course) but I am very much open to high energy dogs who need a lot of exercise. Depending on what they are used to, I take them for a number of daily walks and am comfortable with off-lead if preferred by you.

Pet care experience

Dogs are my passion. I have owned and loved dogs my whole life. My dad is a Veterinarian and I have always learned as much as I can from him including how to take care of a dog and what to do in an emergency. I have vast experience in how to train, care for and treat a dog. I have also done volunteering with dogs since 2014 and have enjoyed my time thoroughly. The learning experience is priceless! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. Leave your pet to me and rest assured your doggy is okay and having fun!

I would not normally write a negative review about anyone, but in this case, something unacceptable happened, and I feel compelled to share our experience. We entrusted our 4-month-old puppy to Marta for one week while we were away. When we returned, we were shocked and heartbroken by his condition. He looked extremely underweight — almost skeletal — and was completely unlike himself. We cannot describe the trauma we experienced when we first saw him. Our puppy appeared to be in survival mode, severely underfed, and in very poor health. Most concerningly, Marta never once reached out to inform us of any changes to his condition, that he was losing weight, or to ask whether she should adjust his feeding. The minimum requirement for anyone looking after a dog is to ensure that the dog is fed properly. We do not expect a sitter to act as a veterinarian, but we do expect them to provide food, monitor the dog’s condition, and notify the owners immediately if the dog begins losing weight or shows signs of being unwell. The fact that none of this happened is completely unacceptable to us. The day after we got him back, we had to take him to the vet, where he was prescribed supplements and probiotics. He has been suffering from diarrhea since returning home, was weak, unable to walk properly, and had completely lost his usual playful nature. We continued feeding him the same food he has always eaten, in the correct portions, and he ate as if he had been starving — which leads us to believe he was not fed properly during his stay, despite Marta’s claim that she followed instructions. If he had truly been fed as directed, he would not have been in such a state upon his return. This situation caused significant distress for both us and our puppy. We feel that his care was grossly inadequate and that Marta’s failure to communicate or act in his best interest was unacceptable.

Marta watched our 8 month old cockapoo puppy, and we will definitely be booking her again! Very responsive and sends lots of photo updates. Her dog Petunia is also the sweetest and was a great buddy for our puppy 😁
