Pet care experience

One household at a time, WFH care

Hi, I'm Marquette! I work from home and welcome one household at a time, with up to two pets from the same family. I don't have pets of my own, so your dog can settle in without sharing their stay with unfamiliar animals. I grew up with dogs, previously had one of my own, and started boarding clients in early 2026. I like learning the little things: where your dog likes to sleep, how they ask to go out, and what helps them feel at home. If they're shy, I'll give them time to warm up. I'll follow their usual routine, including meals and any medication given as instructed. My clients often mention the detailed photos and updates I send. Before your booking, we'll agree on how often you'd like to hear from me and your preferred way to stay in touch.

Drop-In Visits • Sep 23, 2026

Marquette did an amazing job checking in on my dog up to 3x/day for 5 days! I have cameras in my house and found after the first visit or so I didn’t even feel the need to check them. My dog would cry for her when she arrived🥹💕 Will definitely be using her again!

House Sitting • Sep 16, 2026

Marquette was amazing! She stayed overnight with my dogs and took wonderful care of them. When she noticed we'd run out of dog food (a mix-up from my previous sitter), she went out on her own to grab more so the pups wouldn't miss a meal. She sent photos and updates without me ever having to ask, which was such a relief — I never had to check in or wonder how things were going. Would absolutely book her again!

Marquette was a wonderful sitter. She provided thorough daily updates, along with plenty of pictures and videos of Lily. She understood that Lily needed time and a safe space to feel comfortable, and she was patient and attentive to her needs. Lily also tends to go on a kibble strike when I’m away, but Marquette made adjustments to ensure she was eating and well cared for. Lily came home happy and healthy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I would book with Marquette again and highly recommend her to others.

Marquette was absolutley wonderful! She takes great care to make sure your pet will have the best experience that also follows your pets' routine as closely as possible. She provides very clear and detailed summaries of how things are going, tailored at whatever frequency you pick! She is kind, responsive, and responsible. She will be my first pick the next time I need to board my dog!

Schedule

I work from home with a flexible schedule, so meals, potty breaks, walks, and company fit into my day. I also provide walks and drop-in visits, so we'll discuss your pet's routine and any time I'll be away before booking. For boarding, I can usually offer potty breaks every 2-4 hours. For house sitting, we'll agree on overnight care, daytime visits, and how long your pets are comfortable being alone so you know what to expect.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in an apartment close to Dallas Love Field, with a park right across the street for walks and sniff breaks. There's one enclosed, fenced patio area with no exterior exit. Patio time is supervised, and walks are suited to your dog's needs. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed. I host one household at a time and have no resident pets or children. I'll follow your feeding, medication, and care instructions, and we'll talk through any escape habits, separation anxiety, or handling concerns before the stay. I carry pet-care insurance through Pet Sitters Associates for boarding, house sitting, walks, and drop-ins.

A typical day

I build the day around your dog's usual routine, with meals, potty breaks, walks, play, and plenty of time to rest. Some dogs want to stop and sniff everything; others would rather curl up beside me while I work. I'll adjust the activity to your dog's age, energy, and preferences, and keep you posted with photos and updates.
