While I live in Canada, I am unable to spend time with my beloved furry friends from home (Australia) 🇦🇺🦘. I have joined Rover because I am an avid dog lover wanting to fill my heart with your pets love! 🫶🏼 I have spent over 15 years with dogs, with much my time pet sitting and volunteering with dogs. I was previously an Animal Care Attendant in the dog adoptions centre at RSPCA in my hometown. ☀️I enjoy going on walks outdoors in all types of weather - rain, snow or shine 🐕🦺 I am force free and use positive reinforcements 🐕 Comfortable handling and walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments 📖 Educated in basic husbandry, handling and training techniques ⛑️ Currently completing Canine First Aid 🙋♀️Honest, trustworthy, reliable and courteous I have over 15 years pet sitting experience from taking care of my friends, families and neighbours pets. Some of these dogs suffered from anxiety and behavioural issues, which has helped me to develop an even deeper understanding and bond with these four-legged companions. It also allowed me to become more patient, adaptable, and accountable, which I feel is important in a role that requires a wide range of responsibilities. As a pet sitter 🏡 I check in with owners, report on and manage canine behaviours as well as taking photos and videos of the dogs to share with the owner. Working with dogs is such a rewarding experience and I want to continue working with dogs as they bring me so much joy. I will look after your pets as I would mine 🐾

Pets need care and attention to keep them fit, happy and safe 🐶 - Plan for the arrival of the sitter and familiarise sitter with the dogs routine. - Walk dog for 1-2 hours (depending on size, age and health conditions). - Bathroom breaks for the dog every 1 to 2 hours or as discussed with owner. - Keep a danger free and clean environment for the dog. Ensure gates / doors are closed when pet sitting at the owners home. - Engage with the dog and do not leave it alone for long periods. Provide regular exercise, playtime and enrichment activities. - Ensure dog has healthy food, treats for enrichment, clean water and a comfortable place to sleep. - Notify owner if there is a pet emergency.

Marni was exceptional with blizzard , they went on huge long hikes and blizz would come home tired and happy! She truly loves what she does and you can see it!

I have needed someone to visit my cats off and on over the last few months. Marni is always very responsive, which makes my life much easier, and she does a great job of looking after them. I highly recommend her.
Marni, helped me out when my house sitter left unexpectedly while I was out of Canada. She was very reliable and took great care of my two cats for several weeks. She was great at letting me know how they were doing and letting me know in advance when pet supplies were running low. It was a great comfort knowing that they were getting such good care. I highly recommend her!
Marni is fantastic with our little guy. Teddy is always calm and content after and so happy after his time with her. Each time we’re in Whistler Marni is our first point of contact!

I am currently on break and have almost full availability to take care of your pets any day of the week! If you are looking to book in multiple days of house sitting to go up the mountain over winter, here on business or just wanting to go out for dinner, I am the sitter for you!
