Hello! It's great to meet you. We are Marly & Charlie - we have both been taking care of and loving dogs of all kinds ever since we were very young. We are patient, gentle pet sitters, who can’t wait to take great care of your pets when you’re away. Each animal is treated as if they were our own and given a great deal of love and attention. We are happiest using positive reinforcement to encourage animals and play to keep them engaged. Nothing brings us more joy than building a bond with an animal! Since we're not at a point of being able to commit to having one of our own, pet sitting and dog walking is the perfect way for us to enjoy the best of both worlds. We are particularly open to extended housesits for while you go on vacation and offer a very inexpensive rate for this for the value you'll get from having the both of us look after your beloved/s in exchange for being able to have a staycation with your lovely pets and home. :) We have experience caring for all types of dogs from big to small; we have been foster carers for a long time as well as being professional pet sitters (with extensive reviews) back home in Australia where we've moved from recently, so are very familiar with training for behavioural issues and have learned an incredible deal of patience and understanding for animals. We lead an active lifestyle so know lots good spots for walks or even runs. We're comfortable managing all kinds of dog interactions. We also love cats just as much as dogs and have both grown up with them our whole lives! We are happy giving oral medication if necessary but don’t have experience with needles (though we are open to being taught!). During house visits, by request we are happy to look after extra tasks such as taking mail in, putting bins out or watering plants at no extra charge of course. We both work for ourselves so have a pretty flexible schedule and pride ourselves on being extremely reliable (definitely not in either of our natures to let anyone down and always go above and beyond). Having the ability to work from home also means your pet will get lots of company and attention! We have a small fenced front yard which your pets can enjoy. We are happy to follow whichever care instructions you would like for your animals, this includes in the home and outside. Charlie works from home full time and Marly only works part-time so there will always be someone around to provide love and companionship to your pets, as well as as much exercise as they desire. We will look after your home, pets and plants as if they were our own (i.e. providing endless love and keeping your home sparkling clean for your return). We are both experienced housesitters and petsitters and will show the utmost respect for being in your space by taking great care of all your belongings and beloveds.
