I live in West Laurel, Maryland, and work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Having my own dog means I’m already on a consistent daily routine, so it’s easy for me to adapt to your pet’s schedule and keep them on the routine they’re familiar with at home. My mornings begin around 6:30 AM with potty breaks, breakfast, and quality time before I leave for work. My husband is home by 2:00 PM each weekday, and I’m usually home by 4:30 PM, so your pup has plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Evenings are dedicated to walks, dinner, playtime, enrichment, and ending the day with one final potty break before bedtime. Weekends are my favorite because I’m home all day and can spend even more one-on-one time with the dogs in my care. Whether we’re relaxing indoors, playing in the yard, or enjoying time outside, I love making sure every dog feels comfortable, happy, and included in our daily routine. Caring for dogs isn’t something I fit into my schedule—it’s already a part of my everyday life. Every dog has their own personality and routine, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable, safe, and at home while their family is away.

How I care for pets in my home When your pet stays with me, they become part of our family. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special instructions you provide. I know every pet is different, and I take the time to ensure they receive the individualized care, patience, and attention they deserve. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and full of love. My cousin also lives with us and absolutely adores animals. She has a gentle, caring nature and loves spending time with our furry guests by keeping them company, playing with them, and giving them plenty of affection. Her companionship is especially comforting for dogs who experience separation anxiety, as they enjoy having another friendly face around during the day. I am always the primary caregiver and personally handle each dog’s daily routine, feeding, potty breaks, medications, and overall care. My husband arrives home from work around 2:00 PM each day and is always happy to help with playtime, cuddles, and giving our guests even more attention. Together, we make sure every dog feels loved and never feels alone. For added peace of mind, I have indoor security cameras that allow me to keep an eye on the dogs throughout the day, ensuring they’re always safe and comfortable. I provide frequent potty breaks, plenty of supervised playtime, and lots of love and affection. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and in great hands. I understand the trust it takes to leave your beloved pet with someone else, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Every dog who stays with us is treated like a member of our own family, and my goal is to make their stay feel like a home away from home.

The more I know about your pet before their stay, the better I can provide the best possible care. Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, potty habits, energy level, temperament, favorite activities, and any medical needs, allergies, or medications. It’s also very important that you tell me about any behavioral concerns, including food or toy guarding, separation anxiety, reactivity, escape tendencies, or anything that may help me better understand your pet. My goal isn’t to judge—it’s to prepare and make sure your dog has a safe, successful, and enjoyable stay. Because I care for multiple dogs in my home, honesty is incredibly important. Sharing your dog’s needs and behaviors ahead of time allows me to create the best experience for them and helps keep all of our furry guests safe and comfortable. Lastly, I kindly ask that owners remain responsive during their pet’s stay in case I have any questions or need to provide an important update. Open communication helps ensure the best care for your beloved companion.
A typical day
Now that I have over two years of boarding experience, I’ve noticed that every stay has its own rhythm. The first day or two is usually spent helping your pup settle in, but as they become more comfortable, something really special happens—they start bonding with my dog, Prince. Before long, our typical days are filled with the sound of happy paws running through the house as they play chase, wrestle, and enjoy each other’s company. Prince absolutely loves having friends to play with, especially a game of fetch with his favorite ball, and it’s been so rewarding to watch so many dogs build their own little friendships during their stay. During the warmer summer months, when the heat makes long walks less enjoyable, we focus on safe indoor play, enrichment activities, and shorter outdoor potty breaks to keep everyone comfortable while still giving them plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I do my best to maintain your dog’s normal feeding, potty, and sleep schedule so their stay feels as familiar and stress-free as possible. Of course, every dog is different. Some are playful and energetic, while others prefer cuddles and quiet companionship. I always tailor each day to your pet’s personality, energy level, and routine so they feel comfortable, happy, and right at home. My goal is for every guest to leave not only well cared for, but excited to come back and visit their friends again.
