I worked as a full-time dog walker with a small company in San Francisco for 5+ years, and in 2023 I returned to Santa Cruz to continue doing what I love most—caring for animals. In San Francisco, I was trusted with the keys and/or alarm codes to hundreds of clients’ homes and safely drove a panel van to pick up groups of 8–13 dogs at a time for off-leash park walks. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies, senior dogs, and pups who need extra patience and care. I’m experienced working with separation anxiety, leash reactivity, socialization challenges, special diets, and other individual needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’d love to provide safe, reliable, and loving care for your furry family members.

I have 8+ years of professional dog care experience, including working in a boarding facility with 20+ dogs at a time and as a full-time dog walker handling group walks and dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’m confident reading dog body language, managing introductions carefully, and making calm, safe decisions if issues come up. I’m also happy to reinforce basic leash manners, recall, and routines your dog is already working on. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and consistency are always my top priorities.

Marley is amazing with Bart! He is a sensitive dog and she has been so patient with him. She is wonderful with her communication and takes the best pictures.
Marley was fantastic! She was on time, communicated well throughout the stay, and sent lots of pictures, which I really appreciated. The house was exactly as we left it — you wouldn’t even know she had been there. Most importantly, Zack seemed happy, relaxed, and completely unstressed when we got home. Overall, I’m so happy we found Marley and will absolutely use her again in the future. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Schedule
I’m currently working full-time as a dog walker and house sitter, and I’m accepting clients for walks seven days a week. I typically schedule walks between 9am–6pm, but I’m flexible when needed for specific situations. I also offer house sitting for both short- and long-term stays.

I like to know whether your dog has any triggers or reactivity (such as bikes, skateboards, birds, children, or other dogs), any allergies, medications, special diets, or mobility concerns, and how they do around cats or other animals.
