Information Marlene M. would like to know about your pet

No breed preferences at all; all are welcome. I would like to know a little bit about the dog's personality, feeding schedule, walking schedule, and any other accustomed routines.

A typical day

Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep in his/her crate, on a dog bed, on the floor, or on my bed... wherever they prefer! You are welcome to bring your dog's kennel, bed, blanket, etc. Wherever your dog is used to sleeping in your home, I will accommodate. Time I'll spend with your dog Most of the day. When I housesit, it is my responsibility to ensure that your dog or pet is safe, as well as taking care of your home. I will never leave your pet alone overnight either or invite anybody (or any other pet) over to your home. Extra house-sitting services Absolutely! I can do additional tasks for a little bit extra, if requested, and will make sure your home is nice and clean before your arrival.

Pet care experience

*Coupon available for first time Rover users!* I grew up in an animal-loving home and currently provide great, high-quality pet care services. My services range from boarding your dog, giving insulin shots to your diabetic cat, giving your bunny a temporary home, and more. My experience will assure you that your little one will be in trusted, good hands. My effort to communicate with you daily and giving you updates (with photos) is my top priority while ensuring the comfort of your loved one. Special instructions, detailed requests, etc. are always welcome. I would like to become your go-to sitter and provide for all of your needs. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover my entire life, particularly dogs. My brother currently has 3 dogs, my parents grew up with 2 dogs, and I've been fortunate enough to have my own dog, Betssi, whom I care about so much. I also have a kitty cat named Lily. I love all animals; I've been abroad to China to volunteer at the Bi Feng Xia Giant Panda reserve, and even became buddies with a Patas monkey named Charlie when I stayed at a village in Ghana a few summers ago. Meet my pets I have the sweetest, obedient Shar Pei-Chow Chow mix dog named Betssi who stays at my parents' most of the time. I have a cat named Lily who can be shy at first, but eventually warms up. She's independent and won't be a bother to your fur baby. My experience administering medication Yes, very comfortable, and have experience doing so. I'm also a nurse, so this is my forte.

Zara had a great time with Marlene & Betsy! Over the holidays, we had an unexpected delay and Marlene was able to accommodate Zara for another night at the very last minute. We will definitely rebook Marlene shall we need a sitter in thr future. Thanks Marlene!

If I could describe Marlene in one word, it would be, "lifesaver." Marlene went above and beyond to care for our dogs while we were away visiting family in Sacramento. She came and picked up the dogs almost immediately after we booked her time, and was extremely diligent about sending us status reports and picture updates. She went above and beyond by taking them to the dog park for social time, and regularly walking them to keep their holiday chub away. If Marlene is a representation of the kind of service Rover provides, then this service is phenomenal! Highly recommend Marlene. Thanks again! :D

Marlyn is the absolute sweetest!!! She took great care of our sweet pup, Coco, for the weekend and I would definitely recommend her for anyone who needs a dog sitter! She's trustworthy, responsible and she obviously has a love for dogs so of course you know your pup will be in great hands. Thanks so much again, Marlyn! :)

Marlyn is very responsive and clearly loves looking after fur-babies. We picked up Lulu from a weekend with Marlyn and Betssi today and is happy and tired tonight :) We missed her like crazy and Marlyn helped by sending pictures and message updates which helped so much. Thank you, Marlyn!
