Pet care experience
Dear Pawparents, My name is Marlene, and I am a professional pet sitter with over 10 years of dedicated experience providing high-quality, in-home care for pets. I specialise in bespoke house and pet sitting services designed for owners who want complete peace of mind while they are away. By caring for your pets in their own home, I ensure they remain relaxed, secure, and settled in their familiar environment. My approach is highly personalised. I take the time to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs, and I maintain this consistently throughout my stay. This typically includes: • 1–2 structured daily walks tailored to your dog’s breed, age, and energy level • Feeding routines followed exactly as instructed • Calm companionship, enrichment, and attentive care • Administration of medication if required • Regular updates with photos and messages I prioritise your pet’s wellbeing and do not leave them alone for extended periods (generally no more than 3–4 hours, unless agreed in advance). My service is particularly suited to pets who require a higher level of attention, including senior animals, anxious pets, or those used to constant companionship. In addition to pet care, I maintain your home to a high standard: • Discreet and respectful presence in your property • Clean, organised, and well-maintained environment • Plant care and household upkeep • Waste management and general security awareness For your reassurance, I am DBS checked, fully insured with Pet Sanctuary, and certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I am happy to provide excellent references from long-term clients who trust me with both their pets and homes. I take pride in offering a reliable, professional, and discreet service that prioritises quality over quantity. My calendar is intentionally kept limited to ensure each client receives my full attention. Advance booking is recommended, particularly during busy periods. I am happy to provide a tailored quote based on your specific requirements. I look forward to caring for your pets as if they were my own. Warm regards, Marlene

Reviews

Trust her 100% with my pup who needs individualised attention. She looks after him for walks, long stays while I am away, and day care. I can can relax knowing she knows his needs and keeping him happy. Can I just say that I also love Marlene’s energy - she is respectful of my home when staying overnight.

Marlene took care for more than 12 hours of our precious cutie Queenie. She let us know when she had arrived at the lobby of our hotel. From the first moment on we were sure we had made the right decision! Queenie needed some time to trust her but Marlene was very patient - with us and with Queenie. With every little bit Marlene did/said while she accompanied us the the Royal Albert Hall she showed her knowledge about dogs. We celebrated a wonderful 60th birthday because we knew Queenie was looked after by the best dog sitter you could imagine! We were relaxed not taking care of Queenie ourselves even though we had to protect Queenie from an aggressively attacking pit bull terrier the evening before which traumatised us all. Marlene listened to our anxieties, took them seriously and was able to distract our fears. Getting photos and information through the day was absolutely nice. We can´t highly enough recommend Marlene and we hope that she will still be available when the three of us travel to London again. THANK YOU, Marlene. Nicole & Juliane & Queenie
Marlene is quite literally the best dog sitter we have ever had. Lila, our 8 year old terrier mix has advanced kidney disease which means she doesn't eat well and has a very strict diet. Marlene took into account those parameters and hand fed Lila and reassured us during our 5 day holiday so we felt relaxed and knew Lila was being so well taken care of. She is clearly very knowledgeable about dogs and we have nothing but the greatest recommendation for Marlene and will continue to work with her!
This is the second dog that Marlene has sat for me. She is the ultimate professional and both of the dogs have loved her. She's so careful and caring and treats them as her own each time. Communication before and during the day was superb too. Please book her for your next sitting!
