I treat every pet like they're my own. Before a first visit, I like to get a feel for the pet's routine, including feeding times, favorite toys, and any quirks or anxieties, so I can keep things as normal as possible while their owner is away. On walks, I stick to a consistent pace and route based on the dog's energy level and comfort, always keep them leashed and close, and stay alert to other dogs, traffic, and hot pavement. I bring waste bags and fresh water on longer walks. For drop-in visits, I follow the owner's instructions exactly for feeding, medication, and litter box or cage cleaning, and always leave with fresh water topped off and the space tidy. I send photo or video updates so owners can see their pet is happy and comfortable. I care for pets exclusively in their own home rather than mine, since my building has a strict no-pet policy. During a house sit, I maintain their normal schedule, keep the home clean and secure by locking up and bringing in mail or packages, and treat the client's space with the same respect I'd want for my own. I send regular updates throughout the stay so owners can relax knowing their pet, and their home, are in good hands.

Marlee was the best pet sitter and dog walker!! Our sweet girl would be so happy when she came over! She really treated her like she was the owner. We never had to worry about anything while we were out of town or at work. Marlee was the best but Sadly our sweet girl passed away. When decide to get another dog we will definitely call Marlee!

Schedule
I work from home during the day with a very flexible schedule. Currently working to pay off my student loans, which is where Rover comes into the picture! During my WFH days my walking times remain flexible as I can schedule them when need be, and house sitting I will give great attention since my current role is not demanding of me.

- I would like to know their temperament, any quirks, their feeding schedule, and anything you’d like for me to generally know to understand your dog better. Are they a jumper? Friendly with other dogs, or should we be weary on walks? Also medication needs of course!
