Hi! I’m Marlene 🐾 and I’ve been a proud pug mom to Pedrita for almost 13 years 💕. She’s my little shadow, and after all these years together, ear infections, tummy troubles, medications, and even emergency surgery, taking care of dogs has become second nature to me. Long before Pedrita came into my life, I spent years rescuing and caring for stray animals. That experience taught me patience, compassion, and how to stay calm and attentive when animals need a little extra care ❤️ I work from home 🏡, so your pup will have company and supervision throughout the day. I host a maximum of two guest dogs at a time because I want every pup to receive plenty of love and attention in a calm environment where they can truly relax. If you prefer exclusive care, I’m also happy to host only your pup, just let me know! Pedrita is very sweet and friendly 🐾, so I do ask that visiting pups are comfortable around other dogs. We typically go on three walks a day, adjusted to each dog’s energy level, regular routine, and the weather. I know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind, so one of my goals is to give pet parents complete peace of mind while they’re away. You’ll never have to wonder how your baby is doing, I’ll keep you updated with plenty of pictures, videos, and little messages throughout their stay ❤️ I’ve also cared for senior dogs, blind dogs, and pups that need medications, and I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine. My goal is simple: I want them to feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. Can’t wait to meet my newest furry niece or nephew 🐶💕

Marlene is amazing! She took such great care of my dog while I was away and I could tell he was really happy with her. She shared lots of pictures and updates with me during his stay. Marlene was a fantastic and wonderful pet sitter for our fur baby, Sasha! She made this first experience of leaving our pet so smooth and easy. Marlene kept us updated with photos throughout the day. Marlene’s dog Pedrita, was friendly too and our fur babies had some fun walks. Sasha enjoyed lounging and sun bathing in front of Marlene’s floor to ceiling windows in her apartment which it’s also super pet friendly. Thank you Marlene for treating Sasha as your own pet with lots of cuddles, belly rubs, and walks too. We look forward to booking with Marlene again!
Marlene is amazing! I was nervous about leaving my newly adopted dog who is shy around strangers, but he settled in so quickly and had the time of his life! Her apartment has wonderful full-length windows that he enjoyed looking out of, and he got to stretch his legs and run around outside, which made him very happy. She gave lots of updates and I feel great knowing he has a place to go to whenever we’re out of town.
Took excellent care of Milo and provided lots of updates. Will book again if needed.
Marlene took wonderful care of our dog while we were gone for 5 days. We appreciated all the pictures and could tell Zoe was having a great time! We would definitely book with Marlene again and recommend to others!

Schedule
I work from home 🏡, so your pup will have constant attention and three walks a day: morning, noon and night 🐕🦺. I keep a consistent schedule to help dogs feel safe, loved, and relaxed 💕.

A typical day
A typical day starts with breakfast and fresh water, followed by a morning potty break and some playtime 🌞🐾. I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company throughout the day, along with toys, cuddles, and little play breaks. The timing of our longest walk will depend on the weather that day 🌳🐕. If it’s comfortable around noon, we’ll head out then. On warmer days, we’ll go earlier in the morning so your pup can enjoy more time outside exercising, sniffing, and exploring comfortably. I also love doing little tricks and keeping pups mentally engaged with play and treats 🦴💕 In the evening, we’ll have dinner, fresh water, and another walk before winding down for the night. Right before bedtime, we’ll do one last quick potty break 🌙🐾. I love sending photos, videos, and little updates throughout the day, so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing your baby is happy, loved, and well taken care of ❤️. Pups usually sleep with me in my bed so they can feel extra safe and comfortable, unless you prefer a different sleeping arrangement 💤🐶.
