Marlene did a great job with our Pomeranian, Kona. Regular updates with photos, kept her to her regular meal schedule and even let Kona find our own regular resting spot. Would use Marlene again!
Marlene was so kind to watch our two dogs for a month while we went on an international trip. Our 9 month old golden proved to be quite the handful and definitely needed access to more regular exercise or an enclosed outdoor space. Marlene took it in stride and provided great care. If you have a larger dog or one that needs significant daily exercise (maybe you usually let them out in your fenced yard?), then Marlene may not be the best fit. Otherwise, she’s compassionate, attentive and flexible - we’d definitely use her again for our doxie who is smaller and has less energy.
We took a week long trip & were excited to find Marlene to watch our dog while we were away. She was so kind to him-taking his personality into account to keep him happy & safe while we were away. She was conscientious, caring, and we loved the pictures and messages we received while we were away. Would highly recommend Marlene to take care of your puppy, while you are away from home!

I am only too happy to recommend Marlene’s pet care to anyone who may be interested. Since she started pet sitting for us over 5 years ago, I can only say how pleased I have always been with the quality of pet sitting, her reliability and the wonderful care my dogs and cats always receive. Marlene is a responsible and dependable pet sitter. I know my pets will always look forward to spending time with her while she is watching them. She will also include walks (for the dogs) while she has pet sit for us which is wonderful so they can get some exercise while we are gone.

I'm retired and my days and nights are open. I'm pretty much a home body. Animals r my life My days and nights are free. I am retired and live alone

Safety, trust & environment
Cats r indoor only. Dogs on leashes whenever they go out (one at a time). When answering the door, I put them in my sewing room or in a kennel.
Pets
A typical day
We will combine playing and some training, if necessary, and of course resting. I reward with treats and an excited voice. Take a walk when we feel like it. There is no special order.
