I work remotely, so I have lots of flexibility to walk your dogs/let them out during the day, and I can provide extended drop-in visits (2-4 hours) whenever I am available for it! I am a very active individual and I am diligent about leashing/harnessing each dog I care for. I am a huge outdoor enthusiast and I will give your pup plenty of exercise! I also live less than a 5 minute walk from a fenced-in, lovely town dog park should you choose to want me to exercise your dog there! Additionally, I am a 10 minute drive to beautiful Old Orchard Beach if your dog loves the water, and I am in walking distance to the Eastern Trail (East Coast Greenway), with miles of paved and well-maintained walking and biking terrain.

A typical day
As the owner of a high energy hunting lab, I am well-versed in giving dogs plenty of exercise. I love to jog/run, and I live close to the Saco River, multiple beaches, and an abundance of walking/hiking trails. I can walk or jog with your dog, take them to the dog park, and I also have plenty of toys/tennis balls to utilize if your dog enjoys those! My black lab will also accompany your pup as she has boundless energy.

Hello! I provide dog, rabbit, & cat care and would be happy to help you and your famiIy. I’ve been involved with dogs all my life (Bassett hound, Cairn Terrier, & a Yellow Lab growing up), and I am the current proud parent of my American Field Lab (who loooves to run!) and my sweet rescue dog. I’m also the proud Mom of a middle-aged Mini Lop rescue rabbit who I adopted from the local shelter in 2024! My pet care experience began (very long ago!) in 8th grade for a Doodle, and professionally began during junior year of high school when I became a dog walker + sitter for a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. My care services continued into college when I became a dog sitter/walker and boarder for WAG!, Care. Com website, and Iater, provided boarding and walking services to friends, family, and neighbors near and in my hometown. In addition to standard household pets, I have cared for chickens, chinchillas, hamsters, exotic fish, and parakeets as well. I am well-versed with dogs who have food/toy aggression, hunting dogs, high energy dogs, and large dogs. I would love to care for your furry friend and treat them like my own! Today was Malena’s first walk with Tony and they both did great! Tony can be a little high energy on his walks and Marlena handled it so well!
Marlena sent lots of pics and I was confident she was helping my sweet super senior rest comfortably.
She did great with my 2 Golden's according to them and my neighbors! All went well and she was prompt and communicated great. Hope to use her again!
Marlena is a reliable pet sitter and I felt very comfortable leaving our cat in her care. She communicates well, provided pictures and feedback. Overall, a great experience.
