A fur baby paradise!
With over 20 years of experience with animals, not just dogs and cats, your pet will be in safe hands! My house is in the perfect location for close access to trails and dog beach, plus one public and two private dog parks! I work from home and have one dog named Floyd, my 13 year old lab. I also have a horse out in Poway that I’ve had for 18 years! I also have experience with both administering mediations and handling special needs or reactive dogs. Very responsive and clearly loves dogs
Marlena took great care of our three cats—Oliver, Luna, and Felix—over the weekend. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly loves animals. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands, and we came home to three happy, well-cared-for cats. We’d happily recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter!
Moo had the best time with Marlena! She took him on lots of walks and he had so much fun playing with her pup! I also really appreciated that she was able to take my last minute request 😊 I would definitely book with Marlena again!

Marlena was great for my English bulldog ! She took very good care of my little guy and sent me pictures/text updates through the duration of my trip. Will definitely use again !
I have trusted Marlena to take care of my pets many times and she is incredible skilled. In addition to having a ton of experience with dogs and cats, Marlena has always been my go to person when I have questions about caring for other animals such as reptiles. She is incredible sweet and gentle with all animals but she also is strong enough to handle her own with big dogs or big pets in general (she has a horse!). Marlena is also a great communicator and super reliable - she will send you tons of photos of your pet and tons of updates. She is great!

I have a spacious ground floor apt with a fenced deck area and lawns surrounding me. We have two private dog parks and one public one across the street, as well as dog beach and trails all around us.

A typical day
Walking, hiking, running, fetch, beach play, trails with the horses, and just cuddling up and watching a good movie! I also love to take them to our local dog parks!
