I am a current a pre-vet animal science student with a background in canine training, management, grooming, behavior, health, and wildlife rehabilitation. I grew up always surrounded by furry companions, and continue that with my own three critters! I was originally in school for engineering, but after realizing that my calling all along was to help make the lives of animals and their owners healthier, happier, and easier, I switched to veterinary medicine! I have vast senior animal care knowledge, as well as positive reinforcement training skills learned through internship programs from certified trainers. I specialize in leash walking etiquette and basic manners, specifically for reactive or stubborn dogs.

I prioritize comfort for pets by ensuring they are happy, healthy, and can develop a trusting relationship with me. I keep note of my surroundings outside at all times, as my safety is just as important as the pet im walking. In the home, I make sure that all pets have their necessary needs met, and additionally keep a close eye on any concerning behavior that may indicate that something is wrong. My goal is to help keep pets happy while their owners are away!

Marlena is wonderful with dogs. Whenever she comes to take care of or walk my dogs, she is always so excited to see them again and play with them. She clearly is very caring and loving to dogs which makes me feel super comfortable leaving my dogs with her. One of my dogs is quite elderly and Marlena did a great job taking care of him and making sure he didn't go past his limits. She pays great attention to how the dogs are doing and if they need anything. I would absolutely recommend Marlena for anyone that is in need of dog care.

Schedule
I have a set school schedule, but it provides gaps in the day to accommodate animal care, including my own pets! Mornings and evenings are open for walks, with some days leaving room for afternoon/midday walks and check ins.
