Senior & Large Dog Experience
I’ve cared for animals throughout most of my life and am comfortable with a wide range of pets, personalities, sizes, and care needs. I grew up with a dachshund who was part of my family from age 8 until he passed away when I was 18, and I have also owned a cat. For six years, I regularly helped care for my roommate’s two elderly Miniature Schnauzers while she worked long nursing shifts. I frequently provided overnight care and handled more involved senior needs, including following detailed routines, cleaning up accidents, changing diapers, assisting with mobility, and keeping them comfortable and safe. I’ve also frequently pet-sat a friend’s young Goldendoodle, so I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, active play, and walks that sometimes feel more like a run! In addition, I farm-sit for my stepsister and care for her ducks, chickens, two small indoor dogs, and four large Great Pyrenees working dogs. This has made me comfortable managing multiple animals at once, following feeding and outdoor routines, and caring for both small companion pets and very large working breeds. Whether your pet is young and energetic, elderly and in need of extra patience, or simply happiest sticking to a familiar routine, I’ll provide dependable, attentive care and regular updates while you’re away.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I understand that every animal has different needs, and I take the time to carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any other preferences you have. My experience ranges from caring for senior dogs with special needs and diapers to energetic puppies, giant Great Pyrenees, indoor and outdoor cats, and farm animals. I’m comfortable handling multiple pets, maintaining a calm environment, and adapting to each animal’s personality. I’ll treat both your home and your pets with the same respect and care I would expect for my own, and I’ll always keep you informed with regular updates so you can enjoy your time away with confidence.

Schedule
I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, making me available for morning visits before work, evening visits after work, overnight house sitting, and weekend bookings. When caring for your pet, I prioritize keeping them on their normal routine and following any specific instructions you provide. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or needs extra attention due to age or special needs, I’ll provide dependable, loving care and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your booking. Weekday dog walks are available after 5:00 PM due to my full-time work schedule. I’m available mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight house sitting.
