I believe your pets’ safety is of the utmost importance. To maintain their safety I will keep your dog securely on a leash when we go on a walk. I will ensure that your cat or dog does not get out of the house when they are not supposed to be outside. Finally, I will build a good rapport with your beloved pets so that they will trust me, and so you can trust me, too!

A typical day
A typical day of watching your pet would include greeting them with pets (if they want) and assessing the home to see if there are pet needs that need to immediately be tended to. Outside of bathroom breaks and food, we’ll have playtime! I love to go on walks and think playing tug of war is fun too! For cats, I like to play with laser toys and strings. What we do is somewhat up to your pet and I will happily follow their cues.

Pet care experience
I have been watching other people’s dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I have cared for animals big and small, reptiles included. At this time I am only working with cats, reptiles, and small dogs. I have worked with all sorts of temperaments and am diligent about making sure they get adequate potty breaks and food. Playtime is a priority, too. I want to ensure that you and your pet are satisfied! I have skills in medication administration - oral and injectable - for cats of all ages and temperaments. I have oral medication experience with dogs. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible.

Marlee took incredible care of our kitties while we were on vacation for almost a week. We'd never left them alone that long before and were very nervous. But with every visit, Marlee sent detailed updates and the cutest pictures (lots of them were action shots of the kitties playing)! Even our shy kitty took only a few days to warm up to her. Marlee was also very communicative and responsive throughout the whole process. She'll definitely be our first choice to care for Kal and Syl next time we leave town! Thank you, Marlee!
