I have been an animal lover as long as I can remember. I worked in a boarding kennel for 3 years in my late teens/early 20's and can manage most dogs and cats (even the snarky ones). I raised an abandoned Canada goose, several cats, a few ferrets and a canary so have extensive experience with many different types of pets. I now have my own companion, Dakota, who I waited 25 years until the work/family/home situation was right to own a dog responsibly. She has been a dream come true and has completed a long held desire for a Pembroke corgi. I have done all of Dakota's training and she is a good example of how clever corgi's can be (and also how stubborn).
