Information Marla A. would like to know about your pet
The only dog we are not comfortable with unfortunately, is the Pitbull. We had a bad experience once, since then, we try to limit our interaction with them when possible. I am sure they are very sweet as I have observed them with some friends that own one. We usually walk the dogs but are careful not letting the dog get too close to other dogs. We prefer to be safe than sorry. I am very careful when I am out walking the dogs and make sure the leash is safely on the dog.
A typical day
We take the dogs out for a walk on our tree lined residential street and to parks. We love to cuddle and play with the dogs.

Pet care experience
When we first started dog sitting and dog walking, it was because my kids wanted a pet, however, I was not ready to have our own dog. Joining Rover has been a great blessing for our family. We enjoy having fun with the dogs and at the same time make extra income. We treat the dogs as if they were ours! We play with them, in some cases we even have taken them on vacation with us! Our home is Just - Like - Home. We have cared for dozens and dozens and dozens of friendly guys since we started 15 years ago. Most of dogs are repeat clients who come at least once or twice per year. We have many pictures of these sweet dogs and cats and have great memories. We can’t believe we have been caring for dogs for over 15 years. We started started dog sitting even before we joined Rover.

Marla was absolutely phenomenal! This was Shiloh's first time staying with someone that was not family. She was welcoming, attentive and extremely kind. We received multiple videos and pictures throughout the day. I was able to easily communicate with Marla during my trip and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that she would take great care of my baby. I am so grateful for all of the love and attention that you gave to Shiloh. You are now Shiloh's permanent sitter lol, and we will definitely be seeing you again Marla!! ❤️The Rowlands
Marla was everything we wanted in a sitter. She provided care, supervision and an environment that was positive for our older dog. We were sent photos and updates regularly.
The first few days went smoothly — my dog was cared for and communication was fine. However, there weren’t many photos each day, and ideally I would’ve liked to see him on walks or playing, with more frequent updates overall. On the last day, there was a 9-hour gap with no communication or pictures, which made me uncomfortable enough that I had someone pick him up early. While my dog was fine, I would have appreciated more consistent communication throughout the entire stay.
Marla & her husband were absolutely amazing! They were able to accommodate watching my pup last minute with a meet & greet the same day. Marla sent multiple photos every day and really seemed to treat my dog like her own. My dog was extremely comfortable with them and happy to be there. Their home is beautiful with a lovely neighborhood for long walks. Highly recommend & will be using them again for future trips.
