The dog days are HERE
I've had a love for animals, of all kinds, since I can remember. Growing up with dogs of my own, they were some of my childhood best friends. I always jumped at the chance to be with dogs, cats, even horses! I have gained experience working with pups with anxiety. Because anxiety-related behavior patterns can interfere with both dog’s and people’s sense of safety, it’s important to me to work with owners to help them understand how to care for their dog’s needs during my time with them. It’s recently inspired me to pursue official certification as a dog trainer through the GoodPup certification program! I have enjoyed the opportunities I’ve received working around the Irvine/Laguna Beach area with the pets in my community and look forward to many more as I continue on this journey ☺️

Marketta has been wonderful! We have had her come over twice and we will definitely use her the next time we go out of town. Our dog Gracie loves her and was so happy to have her here while we were gone. when we got back she was a very happy and a well taken care of doggie.
Amazing from start to finish. Has a way with dogs, especially my high energy and fun loving pup. He had a wonderful time. Which means so can we, thank you!
Marketta was wonderful! She was flexible, easy to communicate with, and very thoughtful through our whole trip. She made sure to understand all of our min pin’s needs and quirks, which gave great peace of mind. Because of her care and attention we were able to really enjoy our trip knowing Pumpkin was in good hands.
Marketta was very communicative and took great care of our pup. Murphy has anxiety and can be a lot, and Marketta took the time to understand his needs. We got regular updates and she even picked him up/dropped him off for us. Thank you Marketta!

Zeitplan
I completed a PhD and made a transition into the film & entertainment industry. When I’m not pet-sitting for my clients I am working on set for indie film & television productions, and as a dancer and performer for music festivals, events, and live productions in LA and around the country. I am happy to accommodate for last minute scheduling or changes that may occur, with availability on weekends. Feel free to get in contact to share more details of your pet’s specific stay with me!

I care that your pets feel safe at all times, and I greatly emphasize the importance of open communication with my clients, should something arise. I always request all information be updated for vaccination records, and that emergency contacts are on hand.

Mental, emotional, and physical enrichment is not just for humans! It's for animals too. Varied walks and fun games are all part of a daily routine to look forward to. Dogs all have personalities of their own, so my priority is getting a lay of the land and understanding the needs that are unique for them.
