ABSOLUTELY LOVED
We are so thankful to have found Markelle. We were very used to leaving our pets with family however after the loss of my mother we had to venture outside of our comfort zone and leave our beloved Brooklyn with a stranger. She wasn’t a stranger for very long! From the moment we arrived with Brook, Markelle’s soft and calm demeanor was perfect for our rambunctious pup. Markelle took the time to gently get to know her and throughout her stay continuously provided updates and photos which helped eased our anxiety. We will absolutely be booking with Markelle again! Thank you again Markelle for such a fantastic experience!

We highly recommend Markelle! Our boy is a high energy puppy, and Markelle did an amazing job making sure all of his needs were met while we were away. She was incredibly responsive and communicated with us regularly, which made a huge difference and gave us peace of mind knowing he was doing well. We received regular photos and videos throughout the day, along with updates on what they were up to from playtime and activities all the way through bedtime. It was clear that he was getting plenty of attention, and exercise while we were gone. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely continue booking with Markelle for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pets!

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I go on daily walks with the animals in my care and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, so I’m able to do check-ins as often as needed and can make accommodations based on your pet’s routine, energy level, or any special care they may need. I always aim to keep pets comfortable, happy, and as close to their normal routine as possible.

I care for every pet with patience, attention, and respect for their individual needs and routines. In a client’s home, I try to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible by following their normal feeding, walking, play, and medication schedules. I spend quality time with each pet so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. In my home, pets are given a calm, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of supervision, affection, exercise, and rest. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, especially with my experience as a veterinary assistant. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel connected and reassured while their pet is in my care.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy through lots of outdoor time and attention. Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, I enjoy going on walks, runs, play sessions, and spending time outside in nature. If your dog is social and comfortable with it, I’m also happy to take them to dog parks or on adventures for extra exercise and enrichment. I always make sure activities are safe, fun, and tailored to your pet’s needs and routine.
