We had a fantastic experience using the Rover app yesterday when we needed someone to watch our dog, Marley, for the day. We were lucky to find Mark, who was not only available but truly went above and beyond. To be honest, we were a bit disorganized — running late for both drop-off and pick-up — but Mark was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout. It was the first time Marley had ever been looked after by someone outside of our family and friends, so we were a little nervous about how it would go. Mark reassured us right away, saying he had some fun things planned, and let us know that although Marley was a bit anxious and scared at first, everything changed after their first walk together. Throughout the day, Mark kept us updated with photos of Marley out on a walk, in the car, and enjoying the outdoors. While we didn’t get a picture of it, Mark later shared with us that Marley had even joined him on a terrace — soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the company. Knowing how much Marley loves being around people and going on little adventures, we were thrilled to hear all about it and see how relaxed and happy he looked. By the time we picked him up, Marley was so happy with Mark that he didn’t even want to leave! It really felt like he had just spent the day with his new favorite uncle. Huge thanks to Mark for taking such amazing care of Marley. We’ll absolutely be booking with him again!
