Hi! I was raised with dogs and fish as pets and have owned and cared for a pug and cat. I have also looked after animals ranging from dogs and cats to chickens, donkeys and horses for friends. I'm looking forward to helping with your pet(s)! I'm relatively new to the Netherlands and slowly learning Dutch. I have past experience with dog walks and pet drop-in visits. I am a non-smoker, and I love walking, the outdoors and helping out! I have worked with both small and large dogs, including some with special needs (deafness, etc.).

My two demanding cats could not be happier to have had Mark as their sitter over the past year...and believe me, if they were anything less than thrilled with his care they would find a way to let me know! He is also my neighbor and now friend, so I can speak to his good care of his own pets and those of others in the neighborhood as well. I know that his pet care experience goes well beyond cat sitting and dog walking, as he has cared for horses and even donkeys in localities wilder than my hometown of Alameda...so whatever kinds of pets you may have, I have no doubts that they (and you!) will count yourselves very lucky to have Mark in your lives. -Krista N.
I cannot think of a better more qualified person to care for some one else's best canine companion. Mark is kind, caring and compassionate all while being extremely trustworthy and reliable. He is the kind of guy who literally uses all of his free time trying to make the world a better place than he found it. Since I met Mark, I have jokingly called him St. Mark. If he is not mentoring for the Boys & Girls Club being a big brother, or helping deliver meals to people less fortunate, he is going the extra mile to ensure that his own animals have the very best in life. Mark is the kind of guy who sees that a neighborhood kid has thrown out a broken go cart and quietly takes it from the curb to take it to a welder and pays to have it fixed.. all to simply bring someone else joy. In my observation, he is the rare kind of person who got his extensive education solely to be better able to provide for his community. The dogs and dog owners of the Rover community will be extraordinarily lucky if someone like Mark joins your team and becomes a part of their life. He is truly one of a kind.
